We were seated right away, great spot for people watching. Staff was super friendly and provided accurate details and descriptions to the menu. Ordered a Moscow mule and a god father. Both drinks weren't very good. I ordered the lobster and artichoke ravioli. It is listed as a chef favorite and I can see why. It was absolutely fantastic. Also ordered the chicken parmesan. The portion was out of control and delicious. Ordered asparagus, and it was smoked, and great. Also ordered potatoes and they were okay. Drinks weren't good, but the food by far made up for it. I would recommend.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay at Rio. The hotel is older, but it is pretty well maintained. They are doing renovations to the rooms and casino area, but it wasn't an issue as far as noise or anything like that. The rooms are quite large, very spacious and comfortable. The linens were clean and the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of food options at the hotel and some cute little shops. The hotel is located off the strip, so it wasn't as busy as some of the hotels on the strip (which I didn't mind). Parking is free and there is a police officer/security guard patrolling the parking lot and garage at all times. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to others.
Your classic American burger. It was pretty good. My fav part was that nice thick cut onion ring. The fried and chocolate shake were basic. But the food was good enough to enjoy & gobble down. We don’t have these out East so I took advantage of trying it here out West.
Hands down, the best seafood spot I've ever tasted. Beware, though, it seems that you can just walk up to the bar and order. You can't. You have to wait in line. which is 1 and a half to 2 hours wait. However, it was worth it. The oysters are the best I've ever tasted. I had to reactions the next day. Quite surprisingly other oyster spot I have had a reaction. Which tells .e they are fresh. Also, we ordered the gumbo shrimp and chicken and pan roast shrimp and chicken My favorite I'd the pan roast.
The place was already busy around 9am and there was a queue for a table. But that was ok and also took less than 10 minutes. The food tasted good and the prices are okay. For the common drinks there are free refills. We had unfortunately with the service very much bad luck, this was very bad. First, our water was brought only after two requests. When our meal came one meal was incomplete and one meal was not the right one. The second meal came promptly yet, however, both dishes were only lukewarm. If we had not asked for cutlery after the food was brought, we would have eaten with our hands. It can be a great place for breakfast. With the service we had certainly only bad luck.
From the moment I stepped into the Nomad Hotel, I knew my stay would be extraordinary. The level of attention and service provided by every staff member was truly exceptional, making my experience unforgettable. Cleanliness and Comfort: The room I stayed in was immaculate. It was evident that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. The attention to detail in cleanliness and organization made my room not just a place to stay, but a haven of comfort. Housekeeping Excellence: The housekeeping staff were superb. They catered to all my needs promptly and with a smile. The daily room servicing was done with such care and precision, it felt like I was returning to a brand new room each day. Front Desk Professionalism: The front desk staff deserve a special mention. They were not just professional, but also incredibly warm and welcoming. Their efficiency in handling check-ins and check-outs, and their eagerness to assist with any inquiries, made every interaction a pleasure. Lobby and Security: The lobby was always a buzz of friendly energy, and the security team contributed significantly to this welcoming atmosphere. They ensured safety and comfort without being intrusive, striking a perfect balance between vigilance and discretion. In conclusion, my stay at the Nomad Hotel was nothing short of perfect. Every staff member, from the housekeeping team to the front desk, and the security personnel in the lobby, contributed to a seamless and delightful experience. Great vibe and many things to do. Entry is free but each experience has a cost and can be pricey but you can find deals online. Bars and food options available with reasonable prices. All black lights and flashy LED. Beautiful colors and so much to look at. Had a wonder experience and time.
