Main Street Station in Las Vegas is a charming, older casino with beautifully designed ceilings and light fixtures. The casino has a lot of character and is located in a great spot downtown near Fremont St. I would love to stay at this hotel sometime for a convenient location. The buffet also caught my eye with its great prices, and I plan to try it soon. It was interesting to see a piece of the Berlin Wall at the men's urinal in the downstairs bathroom next to the buffet hall.
Boulder Creek Golf Club offers beautiful, fun, and challenging courses. We had a great day playing 18 holes on two of the courses and replayed 9 on Coyote Run to experience all three. Thanks to the staff for a fantastic day on the course!
I recently visited Four Seasons Spa in Las Vegas and found the facility to be well-maintained and peaceful. However, my experience with the massage therapist was a bit off-putting. While she appeared friendly, I was taken aback by a comment she made about my height during the session. I felt that her remark about needing to lower the bed further so I didn't require a "running leap" to get on it was unnecessary and lacked professionalism. As a result, I found it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the massage.
Vic & Anthony's in Las Vegas delivers everything you would want in a top-notch steakhouse. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. The seafood tower was so plentiful it almost stuffed our entire group. The sides were generous in portion size and the lobster Mac and cheese is a must-try. The steak was cooked perfectly. This was my second visit to the restaurant and it certainly won't be my last. The only downside is the location, as Fremont Street has unfortunately become a bit of a cesspool.
Despite the narrow fairways and residential surroundings, Painted Desert Golf Club has a certain appeal that will captivate many golfers. The course features several holes that offer stunning views of water features, making for a picturesque backdrop during your round. I gave this course a three-star rating due to some issues we faced while playing. Our tee times were only 7 minutes apart, resulting in a 20-minute delay to our morning start time. This, in turn, led to a pace of play that stretched to nearly 5 hours. The main cause of the slow pace was frequent waits at tee boxes. Some might find the absence of a roaming marshal and the lack of free range balls to be dealbreakers.
Century 16 Movies at Santa Fe Station in Las Vegas is a nice place to catch a film. The seating is great and the sound system is top-notch. However, the concessions are a bit pricey. In the past, they used to offer a free refill on the largest popcorn, which was a good deal considering the quantity. Unfortunately, they have since done away with this offer, causing us to now frequent other theaters closer to our homes that still offer a free refill (albeit just one). It makes me wonder how Century 16 Movies at Santa Fe Station manages to keep their doors open.
Visited Smashburger at Rio in Las Vegas on a Friday night. The person at the register mentioned he was new, which explained the lack of knowledge about the menu items. Despite asking about customizations, the staff seemed unsure and unhelpful. The manager or supervisor also had an attitude when questioned about the online ordering versus in-person customization options. Eventually, I settled for a regular burger due to the confusion. The food was good, but the service was lacking with rude staff and inexperienced employees left to fend for themselves. It would have been better if there was more support and better communication among the staff.
A must-see show! The comedians were hilarious and had us laughing the whole time. We splurged on the $35 drinks and had an absolute blast!
Great atmosphere at Wahlburgers in Las Vegas if you enjoy the cozy nooks and crannies of the city. The burger was good, but not outstanding. I would return if invited, but wouldn't make a special trip just to visit again.
