Center Bar at The Mirage is a great spot to gather with friends and enjoy drinks. Keep in mind that prices are on the higher side, with a basic glass of Coke costing $6. My friends each paid $15 for their drinks. The bar is centrally located, offers plenty of seating, and plays good music. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out.
For fans of Whitney Houston, An Evening with Whitney is a must-see experience in Las Vegas. The hologram performance may be a bit too skinny for some, but the opportunity to see her iconic songs brought to life is truly amazing. The easy access to seats and comfortable booths make for a pleasant viewing experience, and the customer service is top-notch. The unique wine service, with Pinot noir in a can and glass combo, adds to the fun atmosphere of the show. The energetic dancers and choreography add to the excitement, although some fans may wish for more of their favorite songs like "Queen of the Night." Overall, if you're a die-hard Whitney Houston fan visiting Vegas, don't miss out on this unforgettable performance.
The coffee restaurant we visited was truly impressive. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious. Our orders were served promptly, and everything was spot on, even with a large order. It's worth noting that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the space might not be ideal for larger groups. However, the quality of the food more than made up for any minor inconveniences. Overall, a great dining experience!
Blue Ribbon Las Vegas is a hidden gem located on the third floor away from the casino. It was definitely worth the walk. The staff catered to us from the moment we arrived, providing impeccable service. The food was cooked to perfection, with my favorite being the creamy tomato soup. The Straight up Brooklyn (their take on Manhattan) was perfectly balanced. We appreciated the understated ambiance and the background music that was not too loud or too soft.
Our visit to Carlos' n Charlie's was okay. The queso and salsa were fantastic, and the service was solid. However, we were let down by the fajitas as they had more veggies than meat and chicken. The sides that came with the dish weren't very enticing either. While we didn't have any major issues, we wouldn't suggest this restaurant solely for its fajitas.
Sam's Town Hotel Bowling Center in Las Vegas is a fantastic spot for a family outing after catching a movie. With a complimentary game of bowling included with your movie ticket, it's a great way to continue the fun. My children had a blast during our visit.
Recently dropped by Pronto by Giada in Las Vegas for a refreshing drink and was not disappointed. The "Frose" was delicious and perfect for a mid-day cocktail. They also offer a nice selection of wines and other adult beverages. The bar and seating area are spacious, able to accommodate many guests comfortably. The staff was friendly and I have to give a shoutout to the bartender Freddy, who had a great personality and even entertained us with a little dance while mixing our drinks. Overall, Pronto by Giada is a laid-back spot with great drinks.
Arrived at Nobu in Las Vegas at 6pm with the intention of trying their LV omakase, only to find out they no longer offer it. Instead, they have a $225 per person omakase option, which I ultimately decided to go with after browsing the happy hour menu. I'm glad I did because it was a fantastic choice. Be sure to set aside a few hours to fully enjoy the experience. Once you've chosen the omakase, the staff may ask if you'd prefer to sit at the sushi bar or at a more comfortable table of your choosing. You'll be introduced to the sushi chefs and the culinary journey begins. The degustation experience was incredible. Each dish, from the first to the last dessert, was delicious and expertly paired to complement the overall experience. Standouts for me included the hokkaido scallops, the uni on tofu skin, and the raw octopus, which had a unique taste and texture compared to the usual preboiled octopus. Needless to say, I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied - so much so that I could barely finish the tiramisu dessert. Almost...
