I do not recommend staying at the Rio hotel in Las Vegas. There is currently a significant management change happening and the overall quality of the hotel has suffered as a result. The rooms are not well-maintained and many of the stores within the hotel close early. It would be best to avoid staying at this establishment.
Blue Ribbon Las Vegas is truly a hidden gem on the third floor, away from the hustle and bustle of the casino. The short walk is definitely worth it once you arrive and are welcomed by the impeccable staff. The service is top-notch and the food is cooked to perfection. The creamy tomato soup was a standout dish, and the Straight up Brooklyn cocktail was perfectly balanced. The understated ambiance and background music added to the overall dining experience. We highly recommend checking out this restaurant for a memorable meal.
I was disappointed with my experience at Public House at Luxor in Las Vegas. We ordered their signature dish, barbecue ribs, Caesar salad, and French fries. The Caesar salad was mediocre, nothing special. The French fries were undercooked and seemed like they were from the bottom of the bag. The ribs were disappointing - they tasted like they were boiled in a bag, cooked in an oven, and then thrown on the grill and smothered in barbecue sauce. I did not see any sign of them being freshly smoked as claimed. The only highlight of the meal was a small cup of kale coleslaw with root vegetables. When I spoke to the manager about our meal, he insisted that the ribs were freshly smoked that day, but I disagreed. The quality of the ribs was not up to par and I would not recommend ordering them. To make matters worse, I encountered someone being sick in the restroom, which added to my overall negative experience. The lack of response from the hotel manager regarding my concerns was disappointing. As a chef myself, I believe in using quality ingredients and taking pride in the food I serve. Unfortunately, Public House at Luxor fell short in terms of food quality and service. I do not plan on returning to the hotel anytime soon. It is important for establishments to prioritize quality and customer satisfaction in order to succeed in the hospitality industry.
Forum Food Hall in Las Vegas is a spacious food court-style dining area with a variety of restaurants and fast food options to choose from. They have refill stations for all drinks purchased, making it convenient for customers. Located near the slots, it's easy to grab a quick bite to eat while continuing to play.
