The room we stayed in was fantastic, but reaching it was quite an ordeal. Although pets are welcome, be prepared for a non-refundable $75 pet fee, which surprisingly exceeded the cost of the room before considering resort fees. During check-in, I informed the staff member, who was very polite, about my husband’s disability and our need for an accessible route. Despite providing directions, they didn’t mention how far the room was from the front desk or where we could find luggage carts. While the experience was enjoyable overall, the place isn't particularly accommodating for those with disabilities.

Unfortunately, Masquerade Village in Las Vegas does not provide a microwave in any of their rooms or in the lobby. This can be frustrating for guests who want this amenity during their stay. It seems like the hotel is behind the times when it comes to offering this convenience.

What I Disliked
The room at Masquerade Village was great, but navigating to it was difficult. They do allow pets, but the $75 non-refundable pet fee is expensive. I mentioned my spouse's disability at check-in and the staff member, Moses, was helpful in giving directions, but failed to mention the distance from the desk and luggage carts. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but not very disability-friendly.

What I Disliked
I would highly recommend avoiding the Rio hotel in Las Vegas. There appears to be a significant management change happening and the overall quality of the hotel has suffered as a result. The rooms are not up to standard and many of the stores on site close early. I would suggest looking for alternative accommodations in the area.

Avoid staying at the Rio as there is a significant management change happening and the hotel is in disrepair. The rooms are unclean and all the stores close early. It's best to steer clear of this place.

What I Disliked
Just checked in to Masquerade Village and was disappointed by the cleanliness of the place. The couch in my room had stains and the front entrance was dirty. The walls by the elevators were all marked up and dirty as well. It seems like the quality of this place has really gone downhill. I will not be staying here again, especially after learning about the Legionnaires outbreak a few months ago. I don't feel comfortable showering here and will be using the gym at Golds instead. The fact that the gym here closes at 7pm is also disappointing, it seems like they try to keep you in the casino at all costs. The amenities in the room have also decreased, with no refrigerator available anymore. Overall, this place is a dump and I recommend going elsewhere.
