What I Liked Most
What I Disliked
Hash House A Go Go at the Rio is a well-liked spot within the resort, and I initially thought it deserved four stars. However, an issue with not honoring the Hyatt discount led me to give only three stars. While the classic American dishes are tasty, the service falls short—it's both slow and unfriendly. Be prepared for a long wait, as your meal might take up to an hour to arrive.

We recently visited Hash House A Go Go at The Rio in Las Vegas, and overall, it was an average experience, resulting in a 4-star rating largely due to the slow service. Our order included banana pecan French toast, pancakes, a hamburger, eggs, bacon, and a kiwi watermelon lemonade. The food was decent, though not particularly remarkable. The French toast and pancakes were adequate but rather basic, while the hamburger, eggs, and bacon offered typical diner quality. The kiwi watermelon lemonade added a refreshing touch, but it didn’t seem to match the price point. The pricing felt somewhat steep considering the quality of the offerings. In conclusion, it's a reliable spot for a laid-back breakfast, but there is room for improvement in terms of service speed and overall value. 🥞🍔

Hash House A Go Go at the Rio in Las Vegas is nothing short of epic. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bar to the left of the entrance. The connection that the Rio has developed with the Hyatt is fantastic. Make sure to explore the latest benefits for Globalist members. The breakfast portions are massive, and lunch is also on offer. Conveniently located right across from the pool entrance, there was no wait for us even on a Friday in late October.

Ordered the chicken and waffles at Hash House A Go Go at the Rio in Las Vegas. The first thing that struck me was the overpowering plant flavor—likely rosemary—placed on the chicken for presentation, which dominated the taste. The two waffles beneath the chicken shared this flavor and were also soggy, so I set them aside. Without reading the description, I went with my waitress's recommendation, which turned out to be a mistake. The waffles had bacon pieces, and the bacon was undercooked, detracting from the overall flavor. I ended up removing the bacon and ate just one waffle and half of the chicken, all for $30. Service at around 2 PM was disappointing, given it was quite empty. My waitress never checked in after serving my meal. After a 25-minute wait for her to notice my payment, I flagged down another worker who informed me I had to pay at the counter. He was prompt in bringing me a box for leftovers. Upon going to the counter, I discovered no one was at the register. After another wait and flagging down yet another employee, someone finally came to assist me. The service was lacking given the empty restaurant. Overall, I found the experience overpriced and overrated and wouldn't consider returning.

I recently visited the Hash House A Go Go at the Rio in Las Vegas and discovered that not all locations are the same. This particular spot had a noticeably different look and a more limited menu compared to a previous location I had visited. Despite the limited menu, the food was enjoyable, and our server really made the experience special. We sampled a variety of dishes, and everyone at the table was pleased with their meal.

I tried the chicken and waffles at Hash House A Go Go at the Rio and was disappointed. The dish was garnished with what I believe was rosemary, which completely overpowered the chicken. The waffles underneath were soggy and also had bacon pieces in them, which I was not aware of. After picking out the bacon, I was left with only one waffle and half a chicken for a hefty price of $30. The service was lacking as well, with my waitress only dropping off the check and never returning to pick up my payment. I ended up having to flag down another employee to find out I had to pay at the counter. It took an unnecessarily long time for me to pay and get a box for my leftovers, which ended up being thrown away. Overall, I felt the meal was overpriced and overrated, and I wouldn't return for another dining experience.
