Masquerade Bar

Our room at Masquerade Bar was lovely, but the journey to get there was quite laborious. Additionally, we were surprised to discover that there was a non-refundable $75 pet fee, which was more expensive than the room itself before resort fees. Despite mentioning my husband's disability at check-in and requesting the quickest route to our room, we found that the distance was further than expected and not particularly disability-friendly. The staff member, Moses, who checked us in was pleasant and provided directions, but failed to mention the distance from the desk or accessibility to luggage carts. Overall, our experience was nice but lacked the necessary accommodations for those with disabilities.

Recently visited Masquerade Bar and was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the common areas. Stains on the couch and dirty walls near the elevators made for an unpleasant first impression. It seems like the overall condition of the place has deteriorated. Additionally, the recent Legionnaires outbreak was concerning. The early closure of the gym and the lack of amenities in the room were also drawbacks. Overall, I would recommend looking elsewhere for accommodation.

Fun little bar inside the Rio. Very lively when we were there for the Star Trek Convention, however, I feel like it would be fairly quiet outside of a convention being held on site. Great place to get a drink on your way to or from your room if you are in the masquerade tower!

WE LOVE BERNARD AND "Gerry"!!!! And the bartender that makes the other bartenders happy... what a great warm and fuzzy place. Quality service is important and the manager has most of these fellas on point. Great drinks good company. Good work!!

Horrible service. My husband and i stayed at the rio and decided to go walk around for a little while. We came across the masquerade bar and sat down to have a few drinks. Bartender then asked for our ids which was no problem until he stated that he would not serve my husband because he needed to have his passport( my husband is jordanian) and his liscence is valid and was not expired. When i asked why he would not serve him with his liscence the bartender stated because hes Forgien and he would only take his passport. Completely distespectful, rude, and quite frankly rasist. We will never go back there ever!

We loved James the bartender from Pennsylvania. Best bar in the Rio. Went there multiple times during our honeymoon.
