L9opez left a 5 star review for Encore

The Encore is truly amazing. While we did experience some issues with the shower, the overall experience at the hotel was outstanding. The room was comfortable and well-furnished. The lobby is absolutely stunning and one of the best parts about the Encore is that it seems to be less crowded compared to other hotels on the strip. The atmosphere is much more relaxed and mellow, which we appreciated. The hotel's restaurants were top-notch and the visuals throughout the property were impressive. The smell of smoke was not overpowering and the brighter lighting added to the ambiance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel safe and at home. Another bonus is that the hotel is not right in the middle of the strip. Although we weren't impressed with the room service food, we were able to overlook it because everything else was fantastic. The Awakening show was a highlight of our stay. Both the Encore and the Wynn really know how to create a memorable experience for guests. We will definitely be returning, as we preferred the less crowded and more relaxed vibe of the Encore over the Wynn. If you are looking for a classy and upscale place to stay in Las Vegas, the Encore is the perfect choice!

Stopped by Pizza Cake By Buddy V while waiting for a show and I have to say, I was impressed. The pizza was delicious, with a crispy crust and fresh toppings, all at a reasonable price. It's also convenient that they offer Buddy V's famous cannoli so you don't have to make the trek to the Venetian if you're not staying there. I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.

When visiting Eatwell in Las Vegas, I wish I had read the more recent reviews before ordering. The sandwich I paid $17 for had more bread than meat, which was disappointing for the price. As a frequent visitor to the strip, I recommend walking to a nearby Starbucks or McDonald's/Chipotle instead of returning to Eatwell.

The bartender at Alibi Ultra Lounge, Primo, crafted a unique and delicious drink for my husband based on his favorite bourbon. It quickly became his new favorite drink in Las Vegas. The Halekulani was top-notch and we had a great time enjoying our drinks and chatting with Primo.

Great breakfast spot located inside Resorts World. The food is top-notch, although it can be a bit on the expensive side. We tried the Loco Moco and the Poutine, both of which were absolutely delicious. The decor is charming and perfect for taking photos, but the seating area is a bit limited. Be prepared to potentially have trouble finding a seat if the restaurant is crowded. Overall, a lovely spot for a tasty breakfast.

L9opez left a 5 star review for Noodle Exchange

Review for Noodle Exchange in Las Vegas: I really enjoy this place. I often treat myself to solo meals here. My family only does hotpot at home a couple of times a year, so it's nice to have a place to go for the experience without the cleanup. The pricing depends on the protein you choose, with the option to pay extra for more of a specific item. I wish there were more shrimp on the seafood plate, as it only comes with 3 pieces. The restaurant also offers some tasty made-to-order drinks. Give them a try if they're available. The service is good, and there are always helpful staff around, even though it's not usually very busy when I visit. They have a full regular menu as well, but I'm biased and think everyone should try the hotpot. Enjoy your meal and stay hydrated. Live authentically and don't settle. Hope to see you there! xo

L9opez left a 1 star review for Gold Coast Resort Pool

2024-04-08 23:17:01

Apr 8, 2024 at 11:17pm

Recently stayed at Gold Coast Resort Pool in Las Vegas for a short break. The casino was average, nothing too special. The food options were limited, as is common with Boyd properties, but luckily I had a car to explore other dining options. The room was a bit dated, but housekeeping did an excellent job keeping it clean. Security was friendly, although perhaps a little too vigilant at times. There were some homeless individuals in the casino, but they didn't bother me much. I just navigated around them. The clientele seemed a bit eccentric, with one individual behaving erratically while watching a sports game. I played video poker during my stay, but unfortunately Boyd does not offer any comps for video poker players. This was disappointing and makes me hesitant to recommend any Boyd property in the future. It's a shame because the Suncoast and surrounding area is actually quite nice. Next month, I'll be trying my luck in Laughlin and Mesquite, where video poker players are still highly valued. Overall, my experience at Gold Coast Resort Pool was just okay, and I likely won't be returning.

L9opez left a 3 star review for Golden Nugget

Apr 3, 2024 at 4:16pm

The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas is located right on Fremont Street, where all the excitement happens. From street performers to concerts to zip lining, there is always something going on. The atmosphere is lively, with a curved LED screen overhead creating a daytime feel all night long. The restaurants on site are delicious and a great option for dining. Late at night, we enjoyed playing the machines downstairs when the crowds had died down, although we didn't have much luck winning this time. One downside was the pushy approach towards attending a timeshare seminar upon check-in, which we found intrusive after a long day of travel. Another inconvenience was the restriction on bringing outside food into the hotel rooms, as there are no microwaves in any of the rooms. Additionally, amenities like coffee makers and fridges are only available in upgraded rooms. The lack of a shuttle to and from the airport was also a drawback for us.

One Steakhouse in Las Vegas serves one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. My companion, who usually doesn't enjoy steak, was so impressed by the flavor and quality that she actually finished her meal. It's rare for her to enjoy steak, but One Steakhouse exceeded her expectations.
