Cornerstone Steakhouse Restaurant in Las Vegas is a true hidden gem located within the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino. The friendly hostess seated me promptly in a moderately busy but not crowded restaurant with a Prohibition-era decor featuring dark wood, leather booths, and vintage photos on the walls. I ordered the steak cooked medium rare, and it was juicy and flavorful with a rich and savory au jus and fresh, spicy horseradish on the side. The portion size was generous and well worth the price, although I couldn't finish it all. The service was top-notch, with my server striking the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. Overall, Cornerstone offers great food and service, making it a must-visit spot in Las Vegas.
The Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas is a must-visit for any fan of arcade games. The venue is free to enter and houses a massive collection of pinball machines that will immediately energize you. You'll find machines dating back to the 1950s, showing the evolution of pinball over the years. It's truly fascinating to see how the game has changed. Don't worry about parking, as there is plenty of free parking available. After spending a couple of hours and $20 in the Hall of Fame, I left feeling like a kid again. It was a nostalgic and fun experience that brought back memories of playing arcade games in my youth.
A group of family and friends gathered at Hugo's Cellar to celebrate a special occasion. The service was top-notch, however, some aspects of the dining experience fell short. The Old Fashioned drinks were not enjoyed by the party, the prosciutto covered prawns were overly salty, and the blue cheese crusted steak turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. On a positive note, the wine selection was excellent and presented beautifully. Overall, the experience was just average and not likely to be repeated in the future.
We enjoyed visiting Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar after a great experience at the one in TN. Opting to dine outside to avoid a wait, we were pleased to find heaters keeping us warm. The food lived up to our memories, with favorites like the bacon Mac n cheese burger and nachos still hitting the mark. We also enjoyed trying the Cajun Alfredo for the first time, finding it delicious. The vibe was authentic Vegas and the service was quick, allowing us to be in and out within an hour. However, there were some downsides to note: - The absence of kids menus was surprising, especially since the restaurant in TN offers them. - Prices at the Vegas location were higher than expected based on online information. - The fries were over seasoned, making them difficult to enjoy.
Disappointing experience at Denny's in Las Vegas. Visited on a Sunday morning and found the table, glasses, and cutlery to be greasy and not very clean. The menus were sticky and the smell of fat throughout the restaurant was off-putting. Additionally, the prices were higher than expected. The food took 50 minutes to arrive with no prior warning, and tables who arrived after us were served before us. Our drinks were incorrect, and the food was served cold. While the taste was acceptable, the quality was not great. The cashier desk staff were also rude. Overall, it is best to avoid this location at all costs.
