I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience at Scarpetta in Las Vegas. My expectations were high given the average cost of $250 per person, but unfortunately, my celebratory New Year's Eve dinner was marred by the conduct of the staff, particularly our server. From the beginning, our server, Ron, seemed disinterested in providing the basic courtesy expected at a fine dining establishment. It felt as though our requests were being ignored, and there was a sense of deliberate misunderstanding on his part. This dismissive attitude not only came off as rude but also gave the impression of racial bias, which is completely unacceptable. The atmosphere in the restaurant felt chaotic and rushed, more akin to a fast-food joint than a high-end establishment. The lack of attention and care from the staff was surprising, considering the restaurant's reputation and price point. To make matters worse, Scarpetta enforces a mandatory gratuity policy, leaving me feeling frustrated at having to pay a substantial tip for subpar service tainted with discrimination and rudeness. Overall, this experience left a sour taste, almost ruining what was meant to be a night of celebration and joy. I hope that Scarpetta takes this feedback seriously and works to address these issues in their service.
Ellis Island BBQ is absolutely spectacular! Despite its appearance, this is not your average high-end restaurant. The food here is very good and definitely worth a visit for a decent price. While it may not have a large seating capacity, the menu offers delicious options like chicken, ribs, or a combination of both. It's a great spot in the area where you can enjoy a good meal without breaking the bank. Whether you're there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is consistently great. If you're a fan of barbecue, make sure to stop by and try it out!
I had been wanting to try Broadway Burger Bar for a while as a burger enthusiast. I found that the burgers were just average. The bread was not the best and the fries were decent. We ordered the Madison Square Garden burger and the smoked Gouda with bacon. Overall, it was a nice atmosphere but the burgers were not anything special.
I always enjoy visiting The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The food from the hotel kitchen is top-notch, especially the late-night sub and hidden pizza spot. The gym is also really nice, and I love taking in the sights from the balcony. Overall, I have never been disappointed during my stay.
