Scarpetta Las Vegas

We came here with a friend who is passionate about culinary delights and vino, and Scarpeta did not disappoint. We opted for the tasting menu with wine pairings; an excellent decision! Our whole party conceded that this was the most delicious meal of our trip. The service, the atmosphere, and - with the exception of one wine - the vintages were all practically perfect! An excursion to Vegas isn't complete without a visit to Scarpetta; and the Truffle Ravioli is absolutely a must!

I had such high hopes for Scarpetta in Las Vegas, but sadly it was not to be. All of the dishes we had on the menu felt rushed and lacked the complexity of flavors that I had come to expect from the Los Angeles location. Even the notorious spaghetti was swimming in a tomato sauce that tasted straight out of a can. Our service was depressingly fast meaning that clearly our server wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. With no motivation to even check out the desserts, we left feeling letdown and with a diminished wallet. Save yourself the hassle and stay away from Scarpetta in Vegas!
