Red Plate in Las Vegas is a delightful authentic Chinese restaurant. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food is expertly prepared, with beautiful presentation and incredible flavor. The wok fried steak and pan fried Chilean sea bass are standout dishes. Highly recommend for those who appreciate Chinese cuisine.

I was recommended Red Plate for its excellent Chinese cuisine, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. Although I dislike leaving negative reviews, the cost compelled me to share my experience as a cautionary tale. My dining companion and I started with a Negroni, which was so poorly balanced it was nearly undrinkable. Our server was attentive and did a commendable job, but the same cannot be said for the kitchen staff. We were advised to try a traditional sampler appetizer, which included cold tofu, cold skin-on chicken breast, and another item I can't recall. The tofu, served with diluted stock and soy sauce, was completely flavorless. The chicken seemed to be a lightly boiled or poached breast, chilled and chopped with a cleaver, resulting in small bones and chewy connective tissue throughout. It was bland and unseasoned, essentially a cold, bony, boiled piece of chicken with undercooked skin attached. I paid for the drink and tip, but the staff rectified the situation by removing the appetizer from the bill. We decided to cancel our entrees and instead went next door to Blue Ribbon, which turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I've had in years. This dining experience happened last year, and while I'm hopeful it has improved, be prepared to make a quick exit if it hasn't!

Had an amazing dining experience at Red Plate! The service was top-notch, with Howie as our fantastic host. We asked him to surprise us with a traditional meal selection, and he delivered. Howie not only chose our dishes but also explained each one and why he paired them together. Worth every penny! And don't miss out on trying the Golden Lotus and Hundred Schools of Thought cocktails.

This was our third visit to Red Plate and once again, everything was absolutely perfect! The lobster dish is truly a standout, and the fish maw is my personal favorite. The Chinese Clay Pot is a must-try, and all of the dim sum plates we tried were delicious as well. Vicky, our server, was incredibly friendly and really enhanced our dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for authentic and top-quality Chinese cuisine.

During a recent visit to Las Vegas, we stopped by the Red Plate restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the Boulevard inside the Cosmopolitan hotel. The restaurant exudes an air of sophistication and elegance, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Our server, Howie, added a touch of humor and attentiveness to our evening, engaging us in lively conversation throughout our meal. We started with the minced beef egg flower soups, served in individual cups and bursting with flavor. The chicken lettuce cups were a unique and delicious appetizer, featuring pine nuts for added crunch. For our main courses, we indulged in the Singapore noodles and Taiwanese Spicy beef noodles soup. The spicy beef noodles soup stood out as an exceptional dish, with perfectly balanced spices, tender beef, and expertly cooked noodles. The Singapore noodles were a hit as well, with just the right amount of curry flavor. Despite our full stomachs, we couldn't resist taking home a taste of the Singapore noodles for our daughter, who loved it just as much reheated. Red Plate has become our go-to Chinese restaurant in Vegas, thanks to the quality and perfection of their dishes. The portion sizes are just right, ensuring a satisfying dining experience every time.
