Friendly staff and a great vibe. Especially when it gets closed off. I was disappointed in the whiskey in paradise cocktail, like drinking mango puree. Would stop in again when taking a break from the floor. Pricing was on par with other lounges for a place like this. If you want cheap go to CVS ;)
One of the best dim sum of the trip. We went there twice. we are from Singapore and this is authentic Hong Kong Cantonese stuff. Dim Sum on Push Cart. If you want to get green vegetable, they do it how the Chinese like and it comes out green! Har Gao, Siew Mai, Pork Ribs, Prawn Cheong Fun, Ham Siu Kok was all good! They do have the chilli (hot sauce) we like too!
Jasmine is a fantastic upscale Chinese restaurant in the bellagio. When you step in, elegance meets contemporary charm. Enjoy breathtaking views of Bellagio Lake and Fountains through floor-to-ceiling windows. The menu boasts authentic Chinese delights like Peking duck and steamed dim sum. Perfect for special occasions, with private dining rooms available. Fan favorite dishes include the table side carved duck and the chow fun. Jasmine has also been awarded numerous accolades, including the AAA Four Diamond Award and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. You can’t go wrong here!
I had an excellent time at Oscar’s for my solo Thanksgiving dinner! It’s the first time in about 20 years that I haven’t cooked turkey and a bunch of other stuff, and it was really nice to be pampered tonight! Everything was super tasty amd came out quick, and the ambiance on the new outdoor patio here was lovely. The portions were generous enough that I have leftovers for tomorrow! Great weather for it too with temps just under 60 degrees and no wind. What a nice night out!
Excalibur is a classic "tale of two cities," so to speak. The hotel is located on a decent spot on the Strip. There is a vast array of eateries on site, including sit-down options, a buffet, and a food court. There is a large arcade and entertainment options for kiddos. The service employees were friendly and very helpful. The rooms and beds were clean. For every positive, though, there was a negative. The food court prices were expensive, even for Vegas standards. The arcade prices were a straight up rip off, as most started at 25 credits to play. In previous years, the starting credit prices were not that high. The digital key system didn't work, which required me to go downstairs twice to fix it. The rooms were dated and looked exactly the same as they did in 1993. The gambling was an expected letdown....6/5 blackjack with $10-$15 minimums. Even the $3 stadium blackjack paid 6/5. Video Poker tables were "meh" with the better options located on the floor (progressive jackpots). Not great, not terrible, that's what to expect at Excalibur.
Had seafood tower, porterhouse steak, and onion rings. I have nothing to say about the food as it was just perfect. Seafood tower quality was great in quality, the steak was superb, and the onion rings were equally delightful. However, I must admit that I found the service from the hostess somewhat lacking. Despite making a reservation, we were initially seated at a rather cramped table for two. We noticed an empty table right next to us (a lot of tables were empty) and politely inquired if we could be moved there, but the hostess promised to check and never returned.. Thankfully, our server later recognized that the table was too small for our needs and proactively adjusted the seating arrangement for us, which was greatly appreciated. All the servers here were super friendly. I must say that the atmosphere is not very calm, rather it's quite bustling and noisy. But overall experience was enjoyable.
