Interesting combination of Vegas and Texas at Gilley's BBQ. I dined here before a concert at the Sphere and enjoyed the good food. The brisket filet was tasty, although it was a bit fatty as the waitress warned. My sister had the pork sandwich which was loaded with pulled pork. The fries were good and she loved the coleslaw. The waitress did a good job overall, but we did have to wait a bit for water. The only downside was the limited drink options, as they only had diet Pepsi available.
Beerhaus is a fantastic spot located conveniently next to T-Mobile and Park MGM. The food here is top-notch and the portions are generous for the price. I happened to visit on a Wednesday, which happened to be trivia night. The host was entertaining and kept the atmosphere lively. The trivia ended early, around 8:30pm, so we were able to continue our night elsewhere. I highly recommend checking out this place for a fun evening out.
China Poblano is a delightful culinary gem in Las Vegas that seamlessly fuses Chinese and Mexican flavors. The menu is a vibrant tapestry of bold spices and rich tastes from both cultures, creating a dining experience that is both innovative and delicious. One standout dish is the Peking duck tacos, where succulent duck is perfectly paired with handmade tortillas and vibrant toppings. This unique fusion of flavors is a testament to the chef's culinary prowess and offers a delightful journey for the palate. The ambiance at China Poblano is equally captivating, with a design that blends elements from both cultures seamlessly. The attentive staff adds to the dining experience by providing insights into the menu and ensuring every detail is attended to. In summary, China Poblano is a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure that surpasses expectations. The fusion of flavors, impeccable service, and captivating atmosphere make this restaurant a true standout in the world of culinary fusion.
The pizza at Nunzio's Pizzeria was fantastic! The service was quick and efficient, and the staff member at the counter was really nice. The only downside was that the tables were a bit dirty, but overall it was a great spot for a fast bite to eat.
The Wicked Spoon offers a variety of options and has a beautiful atmosphere. However, some dishes were inconsistent in quality. The prices are $47 for all day brunch Mon-Fri and $54 on weekends. The staff was friendly but could improve on clearing empty plates promptly. Overall, I would rate this buffet a 3. It was just okay to me, with room for improvement in food quality consistency.
During my recent stay in Las Vegas for a convention at Mandalay Bay, I decided to visit Luxor Pools to work on my tan. I was pleased to find everything I needed at this pool - refreshing water, cold beer, sunshine, and great music. The presence of lifeguards in the 3-foot water area made me feel safe. Arriving early allowed me to secure a comfortable spot for my belongings and enjoy the warm sun, resulting in a nice tan. I also appreciated the convenience of a baby changing station in the men's restroom. I will definitely visit Luxor Pools again if I am in the area.
This review is for the pool at Best Western Plus Casino Royale. It has a great atmosphere, similar to a neighborhood dive bar but right on the strip. The people watching is fantastic and they have a great selection of beverages. It's a shame that it will be torn down soon, hopefully they can preserve some of its magic without getting too fancy. The bartenders are friendly and it's important to remember to tip well in Vegas. I look forward to many more visits until its last day.
Tried the skirt steak and enchiladas trio at Border Grill in Las Vegas, along with the chips and salsa trio. It was all delicious. The food tasted fresh and authentic Mexican, without being overloaded with cheese. The steak came with a side of light and tasty veggies. The portions were perfect - not too heavy, but still filling.
