Had a fantastic dinner at Michael's in Las Vegas. The drinks and food were outstanding, and the service was attentive without being too formal. Overall, a delightful dining experience!
The service at International Bar in Las Vegas is truly disappointing. No matter how many staff members are working, they struggle to handle the crowd. Even when it's not busy, they still can't provide adequate service. Guests are repeatedly neglected and players are often forgotten when it comes to drink orders. The staff can come off as annoyed and unwilling to assist customers. The overall cleanliness of the bar leaves much to be desired, with old empties and ashtrays left uncleared. As someone who enjoys playing bar video poker, the lack of service and dirty environment make it difficult to enjoy the experience.
Santana was amazing at House of Blues Restaurant & Bar. If you're considering going, I highly recommend getting a VIP table instead of standing room. Make sure to carefully read all the details when booking your table, as they are sold as a package for 2 or 4 people. Some packages include dinner and a bottle of wine. Keep in mind that only one pin and souvenir bag are provided per couple when purchasing a table, so plan accordingly. Even if you don't drink wine, you may still be charged extra for it, so be aware of that. Despite these minor hiccups, the waitress was understanding and even brought us a box of sweets. The band's performance was exceptional and the energy in the venue was high without any smoke. Overall, I would definitely come back to House of Blues Restaurant & Bar for another great experience.
Veranda is our go-to spot for breakfast whenever we visit Las Vegas. The overall experience is consistently exceptional, from the welcoming atmosphere to the attentive staff and delicious food. The fruit plate is consistently fresh and all the dishes are beautifully presented. If we were locals, we would definitely make Veranda a regular weekend stop.
Fantastic mini golf course for fans of The Twilight Zone. The attention to detail is impressive, although I wish there were more creative elements throughout the course. The staff were friendly and we had a fun time overall.
The indoor skydiving experience at Vegas Indoor Skydiving was fantastic! The staff were friendly, thorough with safety training, and created a relaxed environment. Our trainer was exceptional - enthusiastic, warm, and added to the fun. We felt completely safe at all times and he really made the experience memorable. It was also uplifting to see how they accommodated a fellow guest who relies on a wheelchair. I highly recommend Vegas Indoor Skydiving.
The rooms at The Venetian in Las Vegas were nice, and the majority of the workers were great, with a few exceptions. Despite a slow response over the phone, the concierge was helpful in person. The staff were accommodating and pleasant. The prestige club, particularly Clara who worked during happy hour, was lovely. The food options in the hotel were abundant, although the quality wasn't the best. The suites were spacious with a great view of the sphere.
I wanted to share my thoughts on Desert Pines Golf Club because I believe the negative reviews do not do it justice. The highlight of this course is undoubtedly the staff - they were fantastic throughout the entire venue and truly made the experience enjoyable. While the course itself is beautiful, it does show signs of wear and tear. Many of the issues seem to stem from the players themselves, with pitch marks not being repaired, broken tees scattered on the tee boxes, bunkers not being raked, and litter blowing around. It's important for everyone who uses the course to take care of it. With some extra attention to maintenance, I believe Desert Pines Golf Club has the potential to reach a whole new level.
The Mermaid Lounge in Las Vegas is more of a bar or small cafe than a full restaurant. The atmosphere is truly exceptional, with beautiful mermaid art on display, much of which is available for purchase. The large aquarium is stocked with a variety of fish, adding to the fun and unique vibe of the place.
