We went to see Jen Kramer Magic tonight (1/5/24) at the Westgate. Not knowing much about Jen prior to the performance we went in with a very open mind. We are sure glad we did. Jen put on a great show, loves what she does, and does a great job doing it. She interacts with the audience and gets them involved with the magic. There were a lot of kids in the audience and she involve them quite a bit. This is a great show to take the kids to if you bring them with you to Vegas. It's family friendly and a lot of fun. At the end Jen does a meet and greet with those that want to meet her at no additional cost. She was gracious and spent time talking with us and even took pictures with us. So much fun. Check out here show at the Westgate, you'll be glad you did!
Loved the atmosphere. I love a nice dimmed lighting restaurant. We came here later in the evening around 8pm on a Saturday . It wasn't too busy and wasn't super slow. There was an influx of people in and out of the restaurant. I started off with a cocktail and I'm a sucker for a good espresso martini. I tried the Wally's espresso martini with tequila. I opted on something different because why not. Although it was $23, I really enjoyed it. I could barely taste the tequila. The was very clean and smooth. I let my boyfriend taste it and he thought the same. I would recommend trying it even though you're not a tequila drinker. For starters we ordered the wood oven baked brie and it was a delight! The bread was soft and warm. The brie melted right in and they weren't shy on the truffle! Decent truffle flavor and not overbearing. For the main course, we ordered the hundred dollar chicken. We have been wanting to try it for so long, but it was such a disappointment. The food looked amazing and appetizing, but it was dry, gravy was burnt, and truffle was lacking flavor. It was a total let down because it sounds like it would be a great dish. Overall, the service was great and super friendly. I would come back to try other items.
Intimate & Worth a Try Although having a host out front detracts from the speakeasy element, it’s really needed because of how small the place is. But it’s a good place to go to around 9 or 10pm on a weekday when you want a neat hole in the wall to relax in. The drinks a lil pricey if you order their cocktails but they’re fun, strong, and tasty. The staff & other patrons were neighborly, all had stories to tell and the decor all had a reason for being what it was. It’s certainly a spot to experience at least once if you can!
I do not recommend Rio Secco. I didn’t like the design and it’s very expensive. I prefer walking and carrying my bag when I play golf but Rio Secco was very awkward and uncomfortable. Even though I had a golf cart that day, the walk to the tees, greens and fairways were long, hilly and sometimes over pebbles which made it harder. It just didn’t have a good flow and I don’t know why the fairways were not mowed. I will never go back there.
Excellent choice for breakfast if you're looking for top notch service and delectable food. Our server Rene was wonderful and had a fun personality which always adds to a dining experience. We had the traditional eggs Benedict, a side of bacon and sourdough toast. I washed mine down with a flight of mimosas that were recommended by Rene. I recommend the Bellini Mimosa. We will definitely be back... probably later since it's open 24hrs
