Good variety of games. Machines very close together
In town for Blackhat and Def-con decided to stay at the Virgin Hotel mainly to see if the nobu here was as good as Malibu and London. Every bit as good! Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. Great happy hour specials. The sweet Ebi and Uruk’s were delicious as was everything else. Will be back basically every night while I’m here 👏👏👏👏🍣🍱🍣
This place completely raised my standards for a spa experience. Immediately out the elevator the ambiance changed from frantic casino lobby to serene, calm, and and almost mystical experience. The front desk hosts were kind and made us aware of all the fantastic amenities. The men and women have different sections each. On the men’s side I had gentlemen escort me back to a spacious room that led to the bath house (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, cold plunge, showers), locker area, and and even more spacious setting that led to close to 50 rooms in the message area! Lisa was my masseuse and really look the time to understand and work out the trouble areas on my back that I let her know of before hand. The essential oils, hot and cold towels, ambiance, was truly an experience. Almost made me fall asleep lol. I did 10 min in the sauna and REALLY opened up my pores, and a quick cold plunge afterwards. Albeit I did the sauna and cold plunge a bit out of order because I was running close on time because of other activities. I could’ve stayed in there for hours. Can’t see myself going to a regular massage place after this experience and not thinking about this place now.
Never fails to be an amazing experience! Love what they have done with the little renovation added more table so less wait. Oysters were so fresh and delicious. Pam roast is a must if you come! Large serving you can share! That’s what we always do! Seriously try the monkey bread pudding it is fantastic. Plus service was on top notch.
This is an awesome little museum tucked into the second floor, at the back of the Boulder City Hotel. If you’re intrigued with the story behind the Hoover Dam and the origins of it, you’ll find the real story presented in a way only local historians can. Everyone visiting the Hoover Dam should see this, but sadly, can tell from where it’s tucked away, not what most come to Boulder City to see. If you do visit, please consider a donation to help fund this museum for future generations to continue to see.
What a beautiful course, all the challenge you could ask for, great pace of play. One of the best after round Bars in town!
Super AWESOME little adventure for those who like horseback and/or trailing. Ceaser and Hector were so chill, super knowledgeable, and great hosts. Loved how calm and well taken care of the horses were. Even had a cow and bull to pet and mount. We had an early adventure, from 7:15 am so we got to have breakfast which was also fantastic. Props to the cook/bus driver.
tl;dr - Nice bar with a wide range of innovative cocktails. Love the theme and book-styled menu and receipt holder. Bound is an intimate cocktail lounge and lobby bar inside The Cromwell, just off the Strip at E. Flamingo Rd. It's between the hotel check-in lobby and retail shop on the first floor. Open until 2am. The vibe is mid-century modern, with gold highlights dim lighting, and plush seating, with a book motif. In fact, the menu is a beautifully bound (get it) book with several "chapters" of cocktails. I don't recall the music, so assuming it was fairly chill background music. The cocktails are nice and mostly classics, with a few twists. You can't go wrong with the first cocktail on the menu - the Bound Old Fashioned. I tried to stick to the "Bartender's Corner," though, which had most of the original/inventive cocktails. My favorite was the Kentucky Pick Me Up, created by Dominick DeMartino - Maker's Mark Bourbon, espresso, honey, and absinthe rinse. Great to keep you going during a fun Vegas night. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, but I wouldn't quite give it a 5th star and say it's worth going out of your way. But if you're in the Cromwell, Westin, Bally's, Bellagio, Caesar's, or Flamingo, I'd definitely drop by for a nightcap. Cocktails were mostly $18 if I recall correctly - except the Reserve cocktails which were around $50+. They also had light bites like tacos, nachos, grilled cheese, rice bowl, and sandwiches from the nextdoor eatwell. (Note to self - visited January 2020 during CES.)
During the day this is a great bar with super attentive service. In an evening it’s much busier and the service suffers to the point where it can take an age to get any form of table service while groups are catered for. Nuts are inconsistently provided with orders but when they are - delicious! There’s a nice atmosphere and comfortable seating, a good range of drinks and the prices aren’t too bad considering the setting. During the day it’s a favourite of mine, probably needs more staff at busier times though.
We wanted to get a late night snack, and this was open, so we decided to check out out. It took about 5 minutes of waiting before getting seated. The waiter brought out waters for us immediately. We then ordered, but it took over 30 minutes to get our food. We wanted to cancel our orders, but they said it was already placed and being plated. The steak nachos I had was mediocre. The steak was a bit dry, and the meat to topping ratio was a bit off. It wasn't a great experience.
The female employee who was working 7/14/2023 at 7am was probably the only bad one we’ve Come across at south point. Horrible super horrible. Once she opened the doors she was already in a horrible mood. The first couple customers were older gentlemen trying to make light of the situation and Try to make her smile yet she still said “this was the wrong day to come in if you wanted to bowl”. Who says that at a bowling alley? I get there was a league coming in later but as soon as they opened she just had a stink attitude. and while helping us she mocked us when we said we’ll be done by 9am. “I don’t think you will” even though we’ve bowled a couple times during early bird We usually have the younger male guy every time we bowl here who’s super nice and helps us. Every single person she helped she gave such a BAD ATTITUDE! I usually don’t leave any reviews but this one needed to be said.
I used to go here so often before pandemic. I returned today to see Sound of freedom at 3:20 pm. It was a nice experience. Now you have to purchase the ticket at the snacks concession . Service was good. The gentleman was nice and helpful. I requested the popcorn without salt and he did it for us. Fresh and delicious. The theater was nice and clean. Always a nice experience. Thanks.
