Ping Pang Pong at the Gold Coast hotel and casino is a solid dim sum option in Las Vegas. Despite the busy atmosphere, the food is cooked well and served hot. Prices are average compared to other large cities like Chicago and Houston. The restaurant itself is clean, but be prepared to wait in line as reservations are not always necessary. While service may be a bit slow, the overall dining experience here is worth it.
I believe the staff at this restaurant are adequately compensated for their work, but my experience with the hostess, Hazel, was not pleasant. She greeted me without a smile or any warmth, simply asking "how many?" when I arrived. When I tried to ask her a question about the restaurant, she just directed me to my waiter. Despite this initial interaction, the food was good and the service throughout the meal was excellent. However, the lackluster reception left a negative impression.
I recently dined at the Charcoal Room at Palace Station in Las Vegas and had a great experience. To accommodate our large group, they reserved the back room for us, which was greatly appreciated. The staff was pleasant, courteous, and very professional throughout our meal. I ordered the roasted chicken and thought it was delicious, as did others in our group who ordered everything from burgers to steak. The food was simply delicious. I was also impressed with how clean and presentable the restaurant was. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
I have been a patron of Tides Seafood & Sushi Bar for many years. The new Chef Grant, who has been at the restaurant for about 2 years, has taken this place to a whole new level. Their culinary skills have elevated the dining experience significantly.
Carnaval Court is my go-to spot on the Vegas strip. Situated between The Linc and Harrah's, this bar always delivers top-notch live entertainment. The bartenders here are truly exceptional - they put on a show with bottle tossing, tricks, and even some magic. During my visit, they were hosting a Raiders pre-party and we even won some prizes while getting up close with the Black Hole Characters. Additionally, they offer outdoor blackjack for a quick gaming fix. Definitely a must-visit when in Vegas.
