Servers were top rate. I don't eat steak often but sirloin doesn't cut it, hot stoves and browning is fine, my steak was good (bone in 18oz Rib Eye). I ate half only due to a light appetite after 9pm. I could barely eat the truffle Mac n cheese. The hot bread was dynamic and we split a wedge salad which came with bacon. The best part of the meal was salad, bread, bacon, butter. My partner had a crab cake and it was on the small side sitting on fresh ginger and lime juice. This was underwhelming and the staff took our back and brought a fresh one about 10 minutes later. Good service. A staff member came to check and apologize, then another senior staffer came to strive for service. The crab cake couldn't keep up with Pappadeaux's crab cake in context. They comped the crab cake and offered dessert. The sauces were a nice touch and explained well.
BBQ Mexicana is inside Mandalay Bay hotel, across from Border Grill restaurant. Stop there while walking to or from, the Shark Reef Aquarium. Food is fresh and could only be better if they added a grilled fish or shrimp burrito, and also a bean (no meat) burrito. 🌯 😋
GN is our favorite casino downtown. Great atmosphere. Decent gaming. Good food. I didn't stay there on this excursion, but I have in the past. The rooms were nice. Cool place on Fremont Street.
This one caught me off guard. Here’s why, the hours and menu lead me to some assumptions. I thought this place would be more of a convenience restaurant, more laid back. I’m not disappointed but it was different than I expected. The restaurant is tucked away inside the Venetian (4th floor near the spa). Employees in the hotel helped us locate it but we did have to give someone our ID to visit the restaurant since we weren’t guests. This is not to discourage you from visiting but so you can account for the extra time you may need finding it. The service at the restaurant was great and the staff was friendly. We ordered to go and the food was prepared pretty quickly. I love that a full vegan menu is available right on the strip and accessible by walking. I ordered a cold brew with lavender vanilla and the sausage frittata. Unfortunately the lions mane crab roll was unavailable because I would have loved to try it. My omnivore friend got a chicken avocado wrap, he didn’t complain but he also didn’t seem overly impressed.
Beautiful resturaunt with great views. The staff was really kind and present. We were even given dessert when it was seen we didn't order any. Which really touched me. The drinks were great too. Lots of starters "complements of the chef" - such as bread sticks with anchovy dip and focaccia. Atmosphere ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Staff ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Drinks ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food for price ⭐⭐⭐ My issue was mainly the food for the price. The presentation was absolutely lovely but I was not blown away for the price. I've had far better at 20 dollars less? All our dishes averaged around 70 dollars. --- food --- (overall ⭐⭐⭐) Duck ⭐⭐⭐ - didn't love the after taste - not the melt in your mouth that I'm used to - the abundance of sauce saved the dish - loved the root vegetables Scallops ⭐⭐⭐✨ - quite good but not buttery and melt in your mouth - good texture - loved the presentation - was good but didn't blow my mind for the price, had fantastic scallops that were better in the 30-40 dollar range. - felt it was mostly paying for the presentation here - like I could eat it and it wasn't good but it isn't mind blowing --- drinks --- (overall ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) Espresso martini ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - this was really great. Couldn't taste the alcohol at all - sweet not bitter, but not overly sweet Old fashioned ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - was hyped to us and I liked it --- dessert --- Tiramisu ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - creamy and light - not exactly the delicate kind I'm used to but I liked it none the less - definitely saved the perception of the meal for me
The bar tender was amazing! She was super friendly and offered to take our pictures! I recommend getting the tickets ahead of time as they give you a slot to get in right away. It’s smaller inside than expected but really cool experience! Drinks were great & served in an ice glass!
Food was great! Music was a delight. David was such a great server! He was on it and very helpful with all requests and questions. The environment was pretty cool too!
