Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux in Las Vegas offers good value for the price, although it's not the cheapest option. I recently tried their blackened chicken sandwich and found it quite enjoyable. The honey mustard sauce added a nice flavor, and the waffle fries were delicious.
The service at Jaleo is top-notch. Our server was attentive and quick to fix any mistakes with our food. The manager also made sure to check in on us, which was a nice touch. The food was delicious and satisfying, although I wish I had room to try more dishes. The drinks were tasty, especially the spicy margarita and sangria. Even the flan, which I usually don't like, was surprisingly good. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
We decided to visit the Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas Sign on a weekday morning to avoid the crowds. Arriving around 9am on a Wednesday, there were about 15 people waiting in line for the photographer. Instead of waiting, we went to the side and took our own pictures. As we were leaving, a busload of 40 people arrived, reinforcing our idea to visit earlier in the day. We also stopped by at night around 8:30pm and found only one other couple there for photos. While taking our pictures at night, a photographer's helper approached us with a bright light, asking if we needed assistance with lighting. We politely declined, but she persisted until we had to firmly ask her to leave us alone. Overall, if you visit the sign, remember that you can take your own pictures without waiting in line or being bothered by photographers. Just be respectful of others around you.
Recently went on a helicopter tour with Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters and it was absolutely incredible! We got to see the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon from up above, and the views were breathtaking. The whole experience, from being picked up at our hotel to checking in and the actual flight, was top-notch. Our pilot Jared was so informative, sharing interesting facts about the places we flew over. It felt like he was just sharing his knowledge with us rather than reading from a script. Plus, he had great taste in music! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Las Vegas.
Upon entering Hugo's Cellar, we were welcomed with a red rose and promptly seated at our reserved table. The restaurant was bustling, with tables positioned a bit closer than ideal, yet still comfortable. The ambiance was undeniably romantic and the food surpassed all expectations. However, what truly stood out was the impeccable service. The attentive staff ensured that every need was met throughout our dining experience. One minor suggestion would be to install doors at the entrance to prevent the faint smell of smoke from the casino. While not overwhelming, it was slightly noticeable, particularly for sensitive individuals. This restaurant may not be the best choice for families with children, as it leans more towards a business or romantic atmosphere. Nonetheless, there are no formal restrictions in place.
We recently visited the Tropicana in Las Vegas and were impressed by the convenience of parking and walking directly into the casino without the hassle of elevator rides or complicated garages. The casino has a legendary reputation and although things have changed over the years, it's best to just enjoy the experience. One can only imagine the extravagant parties that took place at the Tropicana in its prime.
