Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas, rivaling even those in Spring Mountain. The authenticity of the dishes cannot be disputed, as confirmed by someone who has traveled to Hong Kong and China. The Peking Duck, Beef Chow Fun, and Pot stickers are all exceptional, and the truffle fried rice is a must-try. With a mix of traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes, Jade offers a unique and flavorful dining experience not found at other Asian restaurants. The staff at Jade is always friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience top-notch. I will definitely be returning to Jade whenever I'm craving Chinese cuisine.
I have visited Lift Bar a few times throughout the years, and it has become a go-to spot for me, especially during COVID-19. It's a great place to relax with a drink in between gambling sessions. Nowadays, it can be difficult to find a drink while out, so it's nice to have a comfortable spot like Lift Bar to enjoy a drink and people watch. One thing to note is that you now have to order food when getting drinks, even if it's just the cheapest option on the menu. While this might be a bit annoying, the staff at Lift Bar are understanding and won't give you a hard time about it. Overall, Lift Bar is more of a hangout or meetup spot with a wide selection of drinks and occasionally live music. You can simply seat yourself and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere.
I always enjoy my visits to Stadium Swim. During my most recent visit, my friends and I reserved a cabana and had the entire facility to ourselves. It was a unique experience to have the staff and pool dedicated to our group. Watching NFL and college bowl games there was one of the most memorable ways to enjoy sports. The food was delicious, the cabanas were heated with TVs, and we even received custom robes as a nice perk. I highly recommend stopping by Stadium Swim for a one-of-a-kind setup for watching sports and socializing. The only minor issue was that some parts of the facility had quiet speakers, but it didn't detract much from the overall experience. I can only imagine how amazing it would be during the Superbowl. I will definitely be returning in the future to enjoy the DJ and the music. If you have the chance, make sure to visit Stadium Swim during your trip to Vegas.
We recently visited Gold Coast Bowling Center for a birthday celebration. Despite arriving a bit late, we quickly got our shoes and headed to the concession stand to grab some food. Unfortunately, the chicken tenders we ordered turned out to be pink on the inside. After bringing this to the staff's attention, we were offered chicken wings instead, which were dry and crispy. When I requested a pizza instead, the staff refused to accommodate us further. The situation escalated when the manager, Desiree Lee, became involved. After a tense interaction, we eventually received a refund. Overall, this experience was disappointing and we won't be returning to this bowling alley.
I was disappointed with my experience at The Spa at Excalibur. I had requested a strong deep tissue massage but did not receive it. Despite repeatedly asking for focus on my shoulders and upper back, my requests were ignored. The masseuse was nice, but the massage did not meet my expectations as a weekend athlete. The athlete's massage was expensive and did not provide the quality I had hoped for. Overall, I was left unsatisfied and would not return to this spa. I believe better massages could be found at the massage booths on the casino floor of the Excalibur.
This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Las Vegas. The food and service were outstanding. My Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, the wine list was extensive, and the side dishes were generous in portion. The seafood tower was especially fresh and delicious. The seating was comfortable with spacious tables. I highly recommend dining here, whether you're staying at the Virgin hotel or just looking for a satisfying meal in town.
