What an amazing day. Thank you Las Vegas Elite Offroad for such a special experience to share with my wife. Those Can-Am’s are amazing. David, our (private) guide was professional and shared our passion for speed and thrills. He felt out our driving skill level and kept increasing the speed until we were flat out pedal to the metal and keeping up with him. Not only was it a blast for us, but I’m sure he loved the thrill of riding at a high level. So beautiful was the scenery. David accommodated every request we threw at him. My wife and I were in a car accident a few years ago and she lost one hand. David drove with one hand as she drove too to see the challenges she faces. She was fearless. And kept up no problem at all. Thank you, David. You know your craft. I highly recommend the private guide regardless of the money because in a group, you will only go as fast as the slowest rider. We will be back.
Let me tell you about this amazing Buffett spot! First things first, make that reservation and show up early; otherwise, you'll be facing a line that could test your patience. It's around $80 per person, but trust me, it's an experience worth savoring. My advice? Give yourself plenty of time to dive into all the dishes they offer. Seriously, there's so much to try! From savory starters to delectable desserts, it's a food lover's paradise. Despite the crowd, the service is surprisingly good. It's hectic, yes, but they manage to keep things running smoothly. So, if you're up for an extensive spread of diverse, delicious food and don't mind a bit of a wait, this place is definitely worth a visit. Just remember to book ahead and come early!
I enjoyed the breeze bar food. I recommend the half salad, buffalo wings, chicken strip, fries, etc.. All the food was hot and delicious. Music was a little loud. Service was good.
Surely, those in town for the race found cleaner rooms than my family the week before. We had to change to 4 different rooms before giving up. Nothing was offered for our horrid experience. We had been driving all day and just wanted a clean room to relax in, but had to go across the resort multiple times just to end up waiting in line in the lobby each time. Another woman on a layover ended up in the lobby asking for a clean room at the same time as me. She went through similar issues stating her shower was completely unusable due to its conditions. We were so tired, we eventually gave up and dealt with it. I also endured a severe panic attack after the manager took his frustrations out on me, stating he can't keep changing my room because each time a room is entered, he has to mark it as unusable- telling me I was the reason his rooms were now dirty when they should have never been approved as clean. They all should have been marked that way to begin with, and he offered no other solutions. All I wanted was a clean room to begin with. There was also a bloody hand smear on the hall wall outside our room which was reported the first day but still there by day 3 when our reservation was over. It WAS a cool place 3 years ago, but they severely need new housekeeping and management staff to get this place back into acceptable conditions.
This place rocks! Everything from the service to the food/beer to the ambience is great. Super filling appetizer. Meatballs drenched in an awesome marinara sauce, with melted mozzarella. Two pieces of delicious bread. Had to grab some wings, too. Ellis Island is yet another example of Vegas' growth as a great craft beer town. Had three hefes, and a lager, both good. Best hefe I've had in a while. I need to start asking for/remembering the server's name. She deserves a biiig shout out. Attentive but not pushy. Let me enjoy the vibe of the place. Grabbed 5 brews to go. Best part, while it's only a 7 minute walk from the strip, you won't encounter strip prices. I was in and out for under 50 bucks.
Peter is an awesome bartender! The man is a master mixer!
