We recently attended "Mystère" by Cirque du Soleil and were blown away by the performance. It is truly one of the best shows they offer. One great aspect of the show is that no matter where you are seated, you can see all the action perfectly, so there's no need to splurge on expensive tickets. The show is jam-packed with incredible acts that captivate both children and adults alike from beginning to end. Every moment is filled with excitement, making it a wonderful experience for families. It is definitely a must-see show, as every seat provides a fantastic view of the magic happening on stage.
If you're in the mood for authentic New York style pizza with a zesty sauce, crunchy crust, and vibrant spices, Slice of Vegas might not be the place for you. The pizza here reminded me of the personal pizzas my mom used to make for us as kids - with an English muffin, tomato sauce, and a slice of American cheese on top, toasted to perfection. The crust was bready, the toppings seemed processed, and the sauce lacked flavor. Thankfully, the Caesar salad was a bright spot in an otherwise underwhelming meal. Be sure to reach for the prominent tray of spices on each table to add some much-needed flavor to your dish.
Hakkasan Nightclub in Las Vegas is a great spot for a Friday night out. We were able to get on the guest list and breeze through the check-in process around 11 PM on Halloween weekend. The club is spread across multiple floors, with only two open during our visit. We reached the top floor, where there was plenty of lounge seating and a spacious bar area that provided a nice view of the club. Although the space in front of the DJ was packed, we were able to grab a drink quickly since there was no line at the bar. The drinks were a bit on the pricey side and on the weaker side, so it's wise to pre-game before coming in. The bartenders were friendly, though, and the music improved as the night went on. We left before 1 AM as it started to get crowded, with security managing the flow of traffic throughout the club. Overall, it was a good experience and one of the better clubs we've been to.
The portion sizes at Chickie's & Pete's were definitely generous, making it a good value for the money. However, the quality of the food did not quite match the price. The server was friendly, but the timing of the food delivery was a bit off, with one person receiving their order 10 minutes before the other. I personally enjoyed the cheese sauce, but my dining companion did not share the same sentiment. The philly cheesesteak was disappointingly dry, even with the sauce. The crabfries, while tasty at first, were unevenly seasoned - flavorful on top but bland underneath. It was a letdown considering the high prices and enticing photos on the menu. Overall, I was not impressed with the overall dining experience at Chickie's & Pete's.
Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is a fantastic destination for anyone interested in viewing underwater marine life. The facility is well-maintained and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The admission price is reasonable compared to other attractions on the Las Vegas Strip, and the aquarium features a variety of exhibits, including smaller tanks. I had a great experience visiting with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
I recently checked off a bucket list item by driving the 488 Pista at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas. The facility was immaculate, filled with high-end cars available for sitting in, photographing, and driving. The staff was pleasant, well-organized, and reassuring. Despite not feeling my best, I was still able to achieve a respectable lap time thanks to the exceptional preparation and live coaching during my drive. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
We visited Zuma on a weekday evening without a reservation and were able to secure a spot at the bar to watch the chefs in action. Although the service was not always top-notch, the food was truly exceptional. Each dish, from the appetizer to the main course, was a work of art. However, it is important to note that the prices at Zuma are on the higher side.
Big shoutout to Mikey at Centrifuge Lounge in Las Vegas! His delicious martinis and helpful suggestions really made our visit memorable. He's definitely a 10/10 bartender with great drinks and perfect service. Highly recommend stopping by and letting Mikey mix you up something special.
