I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Chickie's & Pete's in Las Vegas, located inside the Sahara. I sampled a variety of menu items, including onion rings, fried mozzarella, clam chowder, shrimp tacos, corn, and traditional pizza. Each dish was perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor, but the shrimp tacos stood out as my favorite—they were simply amazing! The restaurant's ambiance was lively and enjoyable, contributing to a great overall experience. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring that all our needs were met.

Chickie’s & Pete’s inside the Sahara Hotel is a fantastic destination, especially if you’re staying at the hotel. Sports fans will love the full bar 🍻, numerous screens 📺, and an engaging sportsbook 🏈🎲 where you can place bets while enjoying the game. The portions are generous for the price, and the service is notably friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you sit down 😊. If you’re lodging at the Sahara, it's definitely worth a visit. For those staying elsewhere on the Strip, it might not be worth a special trip, but for Sahara guests, it's a no-brainer. The chicken wings 🍗 had a sauce with the perfect level of heat, though the chicken was just slightly overcooked. They would be even better with a side of carrots or fries to balance them out. On the bright side, the fish and chips 🐟🍟 were undoubtedly the star of the meal—crispy, flavorful, and served in a generous portion. Definitely a must-try! The shrimp pasta 🍤🍝 also stood out, featuring fresh shrimp and perfectly cooked pasta. The only minor critique would be the bread, which was a bit too oily, but overall the dish was fantastic. Don’t miss out on their happy hour deals 🍻🍔, and enjoy the lively sports atmosphere while catching a game. Chickie’s & Pete’s is the perfect spot to unwind, grab some great food, and maybe even place a few bets if you’re feeling lucky!

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

The chicken parm sandwich was dry and could have used more sauce. The shrimp tacos were tasty but overpriced, and the portion size wasn’t enough to be satisfying. Overall, it felt quite expensive, and we left still feeling hungry. On the positive side, the service was commendable, and the atmosphere had a lively, fun vibe.

What I Disliked

Visited Chickie's & Pete's twice during my stay in Las Vegas when I wanted to relax in the hotel. Had to try the famous crab fries, which were definitely unique and enough for two or three as an appetizer. I personally thought the fries were the standout item, so next time I might just order them with a sandwich. The mussels in wine broth were good but not exceptional - I felt they needed a deeper flavor. Despite this, the dish was reasonably priced and came with so many mussels that I couldn't finish them all. The service at Chickie's & Pete's was outstanding, and they offered a wide selection of beer and drinks. Overall, it's a neat place worth checking out.

What I Disliked

I was initially looking forward to trying out Chickie's & Pete's, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling less than impressed. Our server was friendly and attentive, which was a redeeming quality, but overall my rating is 3 stars because of their service. The food was served separately due to the rolling kitchen concept, but one member of our party didn't receive their meal until after the rest of us had finished eating. The cheesesteak I ordered was lackluster compared to what I am used to in Philly, it felt more like a sandwich from Subway. The peppers were a highlight though, they added an authentic touch. The fries were tasty and came in a generous portion size, while the salads were also substantial. My son's burger, despite arriving late, was hot and fresh. However, the long wait for his meal was disappointing. All in all, our bill came out to $160.00 after tip, and for that price, I had high hopes that this location would live up to its Philly legacy. Unfortunately, I left feeling let down by the experience.

What I Disliked

The mussels in white sauce were flavorful but quite spicy, while the mushroom Swiss cheeseburger was absolutely fantastic. The food had a good aroma, great taste, and excellent texture. There may have been some surprise extra costs, but the service was fantastic. The restaurant is perfect for sports fans, with plenty of TVs airing different types of sports. There is a wide selection of beers on tap and despite the bustling atmosphere, there is plenty of seating available. The restaurant was full when I visited but there was not much of a wait. The waiter provided excellent service and all the dishes came out hot. Overall, a great experience at Chickie's & Pete's in Las Vegas.
