Charlie's Bar + Grill

The nachos served here are absolutely generous in size! We also indulged in the fries, Caesar salad, Detroit-style pizza, and a variety of other dishes—all of which were delectable. It's worth mentioning that on a few occasions, there seemed to be fewer staff than needed, with the manager pitching in to help with service. Although I anticipated a faster and more streamlined experience from a top-rated venue, we appreciated getting the chance to enjoy a meal here.

Charlie's Bar + Grill in Las Vegas holds a special place as the first gay bar I ever visited back in 2009. It was a great spot for meeting people and making lifelong friends, especially when it was a country-themed venue. Their country line dancing lessons on Thursday nights with Sunshine were always a highlight. Afternoons there were always enjoyable, and I cherished the connections I made with wonderful folks like Michelle and Rick, among others.

We visited Charlie's Bar + Grill twice, hoping for a good experience, but it didn't meet our expectations. The food was overwhelmingly salty, even after requesting a lighter hand with the seasoning. Unfortunately, the service was lacking overall. JC was the standout team member, demonstrating excellent communication skills, friendliness, and attention to detail. JC's efforts were the highlight of our visits.

AMBIENCE: Busy and lively sums up the vibe here perfectly. You can watch a game and people-watch at the same time. I bet it gets even more packed during bigger games. FOOD: The turkey club was delicious, and the fries were cooked to perfection! No complaints on that front. OVERALL: The service was disappointing. After being seated, it took so long to get attention that I had to flag someone down to place an order. The first waitress seemed annoyed, while the second one was a bit more pleasant. It feels like the place might be either understaffed or the employees aren't happy to be there.

Charlie's Bar + Grill near the Wynn sports book in Las Vegas is a fantastic place to grab a bite. Conveniently located next to the sports book, it offers plenty of TVs where you can request to watch your preferred game. I've visited multiple times and have always been impressed with the food and drinks. The Meatball Hero sandwich is a standout, and the crinkle-cut fries are perfectly crispy. It's great to have a spot that serves all the classics like burgers, wings, and sandwiches.

FOOD: The turkey club was pretty good and the fries were cooked perfectly. No complaints on the food quality. OVERALL: The service leaves something to be desired. It took a while to be seated and even longer to place an order. The first waitress seemed annoyed, but the second waitress was friendlier. It seems like there may be issues with short staffing or unhappy employees affecting the overall service.
