My wife and I had such an amazing experience. The sunrise balloon ride was so peaceful. Jeffrey and his crew are great and took great care of us!
My husband and I were stuck on the freeway which was backed up for miles, so we decided to jump off downtown to get some breakfast at the Golden Nugget. It has been years since we went there and it was quite an “Old Vegas Style” treat. We went to the Claim Jumper and the food and service were good. The Hotel was still charming and we completely forgot about the shark tanks and the slide tube that runs through it and drops you into the swimming pool. So cool! The nice thing about the pool area is that it is on the center of the hotel surrounded by the building. You will only have direct sunlight overhead for a limited time and be shaded the rest of the day. So if you explode in direct sun as we do with our fair skin this is a perfect place to hang out. There is a bar and lots of Chairs and seating available - and sharks. Don’t forget the sharks. Lol. Had a great time and enjoyed the food. Stayed there long enough for the freeway to clear then headed home.
Took a party of 5 to MRKT for some steaks. Walking through the smoky Casino to make it to the restaurant wasn't a great experience, but the dining room at MRKT was totally smoke free. There was a live guitarist singing songs in the bar area, which was nice, but the dining room was the better spot for sure. Service was excellent all night, though our food took about 40 minutes to come out. We ate the bread and pretzels they brought to the table real fast because they were delicious, but that still left us with 30 minutes till our actual food arrived. We each got some form of ribeye, and alternated between bone in and boneless. We also each ordered a different side, and they were all so big it was easily shareable between 5 people so we got to sample a bit of each. The steaks were cooked perfectly. They all came with a cilantro garlic sauce that just pumped the flavor up even higher. We also tried the peppercorn and bearnaise sauces and they were incredible. The sides were awesome with my personal favorites being the truffle fries, mushrooms, and butter whipped potatoes. I paired the steak with a classic old fashioned and it was strong and delicious. Finally, we tried the 7 layer chocolate cake, butter cake, and cheesecake. They were each amazing, but the chocolate cake won the evening for me. It was cartoonishly large.
The food was great we had the Louisiana crab cakes🦀, Seafood chowder🦀🦞🦐, and Big Al's Pan Roast. The food very well Blended and seasoned well and the flavor was great everything was served hot not lukewarm I appreciate the attention the server at first it started off mediocre but it did pick up and became a pleasant experience. BIG AL'S PAN ROAST 👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 shrimp and crab simmered in brandy, white wine, bell peppers, and spices, finished with our rich lobster and tomato cream sauce. Mmmmmmmmm good It was so much food we had to take some back home to our Airbnb I do recommend going here food was great the atmosphere was Lively you are in the casino so just to let you know and afterwards you can go catch a movie in the casino or go do your thing
Great hideaway bar with a tree stump seat, if you're lucky to get it. Play at the bar machines and get free drinks.
Putting aside the weird no photo policy. Delilah was simply the best dining experience I've had in Vegas. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable. The food was awesome. The desserts might need some tuning; all the plating was beautiful. This combination made me feel this experience was worth every penny.
Overall it was pretty okay. If I had to rate it when we first got there I would have given it 0 stars for the HUGE line we had to wait in to get checked into our room. Circus Circus has got to get with the times, it's almost 2024, get some electronic check in stations going or something. Otherwise, the stay was fun. Gambling was good, the adventure dome was cool, getting bombarded by hotel staff trying to sell you stuff, not cool. The room was very average. It's the classic motel feel, the shower drain was backing up, there wasn't a mini fridge, and they have super old TVs in the *upgraded* room we stayed in. I do like the location though, it's super close to Planet 13.
From the moment we entered this restaurant everyone was friendly. We sat at the bar where our bartender Mark was absolutely amazing. I wasn't sure what to order for my drink so I told him a few things I liked and he worked his magic. Whatever he made me was delicious and since it was happy hour I did also order some shots of tequila. I also enjoyed Carne Asada fries for the first time and it was a huge portion and very good. My husband ordered wings which were cooked to perfection. We were sad that we only came upon this place on or last day in Vegas otherwise we would have been in there everyday since we were staying at the Venetian. I couldn't finish my second drink so I took it to go. Even if you aren't staying there do yourself a budget friendly favor and visit this restaurant and Mark the bartender for his amazing service. They have amazing happy hour specials.
I visited this casino since it’s right across from my favorite casino and some people recommend it to me. I played for a few hours and didn’t do well at all. I personally didn’t like the layout and didn’t feel comfortable playing there. The machines were not paying that day. The service was slow. I also didn’t like the fact that it has the aquarium inside and some other captive animals there. I don’t think it’s fair to the animals.
