Carbone in Las Vegas is a high-end Italian steakhouse located in the Aria that definitely requires a reservation to avoid a long wait. The service and food are top-notch, but it comes with a price tag to match. One standout dish is their Tomahawk steak, complete with their name seared into the bone for a special touch. The drinks are expertly crafted and the food is consistently delicious. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the pasta is delightful. The only downside during my visit was the restroom situation, with a flood that hadn't been fixed, requiring a trek to the nearest public restroom. But overall, Carbone provides a luxurious dining experience worth the cost.
Alibi Ultra Lounge, situated within the ARIA Resort and Casino, offers a sophisticated atmosphere with talented bartenders crafting a variety of cocktails. Upon arrival, I found that most tables were reserved, so I made my way to the bustling bar area. The music playing in the background was a mix of rap with heavy beats, adding to the energetic ambiance. I decided to try the BlackBerry Bliss cocktail, which was a delightful combination of ketel one vodka, blackberry shrub, lime juice, mint, and ginger beer over ice, garnished with lime and blackberry. The drink was fruity, light, and incredibly refreshing. My only qualm was the price, as I would have loved to indulge in a few more if they were a bit more budget-friendly.
One recent busy night, I was able to secure a table at Jaleo through their website. After a brief 10-minute wait, I was seated. The food, particularly the paella, was quite delicious. The portion sizes were slightly smaller than expected, but still satisfying. While the service wasn't the quickest, the staff members were incredibly friendly. I would recommend giving Jaleo a try at least once.
StripSteak at Mandalay Bay Hotel/Casino is a fantastic dinner spot. My partner and I had a wonderful experience celebrating a special occasion there. Our server and the staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the NY strip steak and my partner had the chicken, both of which were incredibly delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a nice steak dinner while in Vegas. We were lucky to score a reservation for dinner that evening when most places were fully booked. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Vegas.
Absolutely adore this piano bar! The talent of Bonnie, Billy, Tamara, and Kim is truly exceptional. The energy and sing-a-longs are a blast - definitely a must-visit spot. Open from 9:00 pm to 3:00 am on weekends and 9:00 pm to 2:00 am on weekdays.
Barry's Downtown Prime in Las Vegas is absolutely amazing! The steaks were all tender and deliciously cooked. I appreciated how the chef interacted with all the customers, he was a very kind and respectful man. If you find yourself in downtown Vegas, this is definitely a place to visit. I 100% recommend it!
Omnia Nightclub's ground floor is packed on Saturday nights, especially around 12:30. It's more manageable before that time. The bar is easy to access due to the crowd being elsewhere. The bathrooms are clean and staffed with attendants handing out paper towels. The downstairs music is hip hop and r n b, while upstairs is edm. Dress code tends towards dresses for women and shirts for men. It was a great experience with complimentary bottle service at a table next to the DJ. However, I personally wouldn't return. I liked that AMFs are served in reusable acrylic cups.
The Spa at Excalibur in Las Vegas provided an okay massage experience, but it didn't really meet my expectations for a deep tissue massage. I felt like I could have gotten a similar or even better massage for a lower price if I had gone off the strip. The $225 I paid for an 80-minute session was higher than what I usually pay, which is around $90-100 plus tip. The convenience of being located in the hotel may have influenced the higher price, but I don't think it justifies paying double the normal cost. The environment at the spa was pleasant and clean, although I was informed that certain amenities like the locker room, jetted tub, and sauna were unavailable due to renovations, which I did not see evidence of during my visit.
