UPDATE one month later: Aliante Resort Pool does not offer any incentives to video poker players; I would suggest going to Laughlin or Mesquite instead if you want to feel valued as a customer. The pool at Aliante Resort is incredibly modern and spacious, with a fantastic layout, a variety of games, and a few food choices available. However, if you are specifically a video poker player on vacation with access to a rental car, it may not be worth the journey. Overall, the quality of games and overall experience at the pool is above average.
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas is an excellent venue for concerts. The sound quality is superb and the view is great from every seat. The loge seats are very comfortable, with enough room for taller guests' knees. The bars located within the concert area make it easy to grab a drink without missing any of the action. The attendants in the bathrooms keep them clean and well-maintained. The only complaint is the process of entering and exiting the venue, which could be more efficient with more staff and more open doors. Overall, a great spot for live music!
X Pot in Las Vegas offers a top-notch fine dining experience. The meat cuts are of high quality and the dishes are beautifully presented. The service is impeccable, living up to the standards of an upscale restaurant. However, the hotpot soup base was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite complement the meat as well as it could have. While it wasn't terrible, I have had better soup bases at other hot pot restaurants with more traditional offerings.
The Chimera Golf Club in Las Vegas is truly incredible. The perfectly manicured greens and wide fairways make for an exceptional golfing experience. This course is definitely one of the best I've ever played on, and I would not hesitate to come back again in the future.
I participated in a charity tournament at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort and had a great experience. The weather was ideal for golf and the course was well-maintained. The greens were fast and smooth, the fairways were lush, and the tee boxes were in excellent condition. Despite the distance from the city, the journey out to the resort was worthwhile.
I frequent International Bar in Las Vegas every Friday to enjoy the awesome live bands they have playing. It's a fun spot to hang out every night of the week!
Lakeside is a stunning restaurant with a view of the Lake of Dreams show, making it a great spot to enjoy while dining. The crab/ pea soup appetizer and the pears and popcorn dessert were highlights for me. Unfortunately, my main course was not as impressive - it lacked flavor and even tasted slightly burnt. The mac and cheese was decent but nothing extraordinary. In terms of value for the price, I personally prefer SW which is just a short distance away. The service, which I expected to be more attentive at a place like the Wynn, was also lacking during my visit.
I tried the New York strip ($82) with pepper sauce at Prime Steakhouse and found it to be very good. However, my companion had the dry-aged ribeye ($110) and thought it was amazing. Our waiter also did a great job explaining and pouring the sauce on our steaks and mushrooms. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.
Outstanding service at Jade Asian Kitchen & Noodles in Las Vegas. The staff is cheerful, friendly, and professional, making sure all your needs are met without being overbearing. The food is flawless, prepared exactly to your specifications. And the green tea served here is unparalleled - absolutely the best I've ever had!
