Had a great time all the workers from checking in to security everybody was very helpful polite had a great experience like it so well staying another night
The crostata very delicious however, they forgot an item I paid for. There wasn't a place to sit, while others linger after their coffee is gone. Prices are spendy. Took to the room to enjoy.....Make sure you're order is correct because they don't check it here.53.00 for 4 items. Received 3.
We came here for our anniversary tonight and the server rushed us and kept asking if we were still working on our food. At one point the server even stood by our table and watched us. It was definitely an odd experience and he did nothing special to recognize our anniversary. The food was decent and the portions were good.
This place is fancy and sophisticated. It is additionally closed during the day until the afternoon. It is an excellent place to pop in for a drink. Also, they rotate the bartender on duty so you can experience a true variety of service. The barback on weekends is usually there because he has the most seniority at this point. They polished up all the shiny surfaces such as the brass accents. No dull surfaces are allowed in the Overlook Lounge. And the chairs were free of crumbs and other debris. You can tell they pay attention to all the details when cleaning the place during opening hours as well as after each day. The drinks are priced and ready to be sold. Order what you like, or try something new. The bartenders and drink makers are all professionally trained and already know how to make a variety of cocktails. If you are feeling adventurous, sometimes taking an old classic and adding vermouth is enough to make it your own. But vermouth in a blended margarita is not recommended. It throws the flavor off in a big way. Believe me. Like you don't have enough stuff to worry about. Enjoy the ambiance at this location. It has a truly distinct vibe that pairs well with the headiness of it all. And don't be confused by the name: Overlook Lounge. It overlooks many things. As you were.
This is a great choice for an upscale, modern, and really casual brunch. The eggs Benedict were really special, and so was the avocado toast. You can tell that effort goes into the food sent to you. I started with a sidecar and it was absolutely supreme and well balanced. The service seemed really casual and almost carefree relevant to the price point and quality of food being served.
I cannot recommend anyone staying at this property. I had booked two of my employees here for two nights. After the first night we complained to the front desk that the bathroom floor was dirty and there were a lot of dead bugs on the floor. There is also a toilet plunger laying on the floor. The bathroom floor was filthy. The carpet had not been cleaned very dirty, nor was it vacuumed. When we asked to speak to the manager, there was no manager on duty according to the desk clerk, and she would not be there till 9 AM I left a message for her to call me and notes on my concerns. I did not get that phone call. The desk clerk also informed me that they only had one person to clean rooms and she got 25 rooms done and the rest of the rooms had to be left on cleaned or serviced. And ours was one of them! The next day I tracked down the manager she said she would look into it but did not get back with me. We had a deluxe room and the desk work said she could give us a standard room, but no discount. They did return one nights resort fee, but no other discounts. The three days and two nights that the room was occupied it was never cleaned!
THERE FOOD IS JUST WOWWW very expensive but worth the price they even got soft serve lobster sometimes and sliders they made me cheeseburger sliders because I couldn't eat pork but THEY WERE SO GOOD definitely coming here again recommending to friends AND COME HERE IF YOU CAN
Pretty views friendly pro shop. Decent greens and tee box. I have 3 stars because they didn’t have carts available until just after tee time, then cart ran out of juice of 12. Guys in front were slow waiting 5-10 min for most holes after 4. Ranger was friendly but didn’t solve the issue. Tip: make it 10 min increments!!! People are more likely to return when they have fun
I arrived around 2PM on a weekday as a solo traveler. I was seated immediately without a reservation. The restaurant seemed about 60% full. Firstly, the water tasted off. Tasted... Musky. Immediately -1. Service was relatively quick. I got my food within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered the Chow Mein Mandarin Noodles with Beef. The portions of noodles were pretty generous, but the vegetables and beef were lacking in quantity and quality. It was all stir fried well, but the beef didn't taste as tender as I would like. I would say that the dish is one small step above fast food Chinese places, and more expensive. I saw others ordering noodle soup dishes that seemed to be well received, so I may go back to get something else. The servers do also speak Chinese, so that was nice.
We found this place while playing at the 1$ blackjack table in the Downtown Grand. The food was amazing and the server was so sweet. The price was great too, hard to find a breakfast for 2 in Vegas for 35$. I had the FREEDOM BEAT-B-QUE SANDWICH and added on the TOTS. She had the AMERICAN BREAKFAST.
