After seeing the incredibly disappointing and horrible show that is O I was very hesitant to see Mystere. Thankfully Mystere gives a typical and expected performance by Cirque du Soleil. If you're trying to decide what show to see definitely make O and see Mystere. Especially if it's your first Cirque du Soleil experience
This was AMAZING. We get picked up by Denny on the Las Vegas Strip. On the ride to the ranch, he pointed out little facts about what we were seeing out the windows. His breakfast is incredible. The eggs and potatoes were seasoned to perfection. For the ride, we were with Chanel. She was the sweetest. My boyfriends and I got matched up perfectly to our horses. She was so knowledgeable about the area and has personal conversations with each group of riders. Even snapped some pictures of me and my boyfriend for us. The horses are so well mannered and easy for everyone. My boyfriend had never rode before and had no issues at all with Gunner! All in all, I loved every minute and it was so worth it.
My husband and I were stuck on the freeway which was backed up for miles, so we decided to jump off downtown to get some breakfast at the Golden Nugget. It has been years since we went there and it was quite an “Old Vegas Style” treat. We went to the Claim Jumper and the food and service were good. The Hotel was still charming and we completely forgot about the shark tanks and the slide tube that runs through it and drops you into the swimming pool. So cool! The nice thing about the pool area is that it is on the center of the hotel surrounded by the building. You will only have direct sunlight overhead for a limited time and be shaded the rest of the day. So if you explode in direct sun as we do with our fair skin this is a perfect place to hang out. There is a bar and lots of Chairs and seating available - and sharks. Don’t forget the sharks. Lol. Had a great time and enjoyed the food. Stayed there long enough for the freeway to clear then headed home.
We had dinner (if that is what you call it) on August 7, 2023. The food was horrible. When we placed our order I was asked how I would like my steak cooked. I specifically said well done. I did not want no blood on my plate. Welllll let’s just say the plate was delivered and I had a pool of blood from the steak. It was still raw. All of our sides came when the steak did. I had to send my steak back not once but twice! My husband had to send his back as well. All of our sides were cold once the steaks were brought back to us. We were told by the manager that he would take care of our meal! We were ready to go and low and behold they brought us a bill. The steaks were taken off the bill but everything else was billed to us. The staff apologized to us. The apology was nice but the damage was already done. I DO NOT recommend going to this establishment. When a manager says he is going to take care of it! We thought he was taking care of the whole bill!
I attended the Souls of Motown concert. It was phenomenal, with Ms. Yolanda Fletcher as The female artist (The Platters). Her voice is outstanding.
Awesome show. You can't go wrong seeing him. This was a last minute decision for us on the only night he was having a show during our stay so we could only get seats in the very back. They have TV screens that still allow you to see up close tho. You can tell how nice of a man he is just by watching him & I appreciate that. Someone who has such a wonderful talent & is a good person is someone I will support any day of the week.
I recently stayed at the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel and I must say that my experience has been far from satisfactory. While the hotel itself had some appealing features, I am deeply disappointed with their customer service, particularly in regards to their handling of the deposit refund. Upon check-in, the hotel placed a $100 deposit on my card, which is a common practice. I was assured by the front desk staff that this deposit would be refunded within 24 hours of checkout. However, it has now been three weeks since I checked out and I have yet to receive my deposit refund. I have made several attempts to contact the hotel's customer service through phone calls and emails, but to my dismay, I have not received any response. This lack of communication is extremely frustrating, as I had trusted the hotel's promise of a quick and timely refund. Not only have they failed to honor their commitment, but their negligence in addressing my concerns has left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a guest. It's disheartening to see such a renowned establishment like the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel fall short in delivering on their promises and maintaining a high level of customer service. The unresolved deposit refund issue has cast a shadow over what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay. I believe that a hotel's reputation is not solely built on its physical amenities, but also on its ability to address and resolve customer concerns promptly and efficiently. In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Virgin Las Vegas Hotel based on my experience with their poor customer service and failure to fulfill their commitment regarding the deposit refund. I hope that my feedback serves as a reminder for the hotel management to prioritize guest satisfaction and timely communication in order to avoid similar situations in the future.
This place is AMAZING! We ordered the Surf and Turf (Wagu) which online is advertised as surf and turf for two.... However, this plate could have easily served another couple. My husband and I came in for our anniversary and after a few hiccups in general in the hotel We were lucky enough to come here for dinner on Saturday night... And oh boy was it worth it!!! Our server was fantastic. The host staff was fantastic. The food runners, the support staff. Everybody was super nice, super attentive and all over our experience. We got the calamari as an appetizer which was huge by the way, and the citrus aioli is amazing. For dinner we ordered the serpenters for two which again was way more food than my husband and I could eat and he is all about steak. Typically he can put down a steak on his own. No problem but this was an amazing portion for the price, and cooked to perfection. Since it was our anniversary, they sent out a happy anniversary dessert to our table with two glasses of champagne to toast. We were already looking at the dessert menu so it wasn't necessary but what an amazing nice touch!. We definitely felt styled out and like VIP, even though we are just two folks from Colorado. Last night we ate at Hell's kitchen and while it was good I 100% hands down. Would eat at Stack again over Hell's kitchen. It truly impressed me to no end. I cannot say enough about our experience. It was that good.
Me and my husband had dinner here over Memorial Day Weekend and the entire experience was fantasic. Our server Erin was so nice and made sure everything was perfect. We had the Mother Superior and the tequila old fashioned cocktails to start and I also finished with an espresso martini and they were all perfect. We got the dry aged NY strip and wet aged Rib eye and the steaks melted in your mouth. Don’t skip out on the lobster mac and cheese! It is delicious and a perfect portion to share. 5 star experience at Bugsy and Meyer’s.
I was here for a conference party and the bar was consistently good. The drinks were great, the staff friendly and the food for one of the party it’s was fabulous. They had a great variety of pizzas that were delicious. It’s definitely more of a club atmosphere than a relaxing bar.
Dined here for Valentine's. Exceeded my expectations! The food was cooked perfectly with great flavors. We ordered the domestic lamb chops and chicken Marsala dish. The service was exemplary. There's an outside deck to view the Vegas skyline as you wait for your food. The ambiance inside is quiet and intimate with low lighting. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out!
Beautiful course. However, unless you enjoy 5+ hour rounds of golf I would advise against playing here. There’s a level of randomness with pace of play, but 2 hour and 35 minute front nine seemed excessive. Left after 9 and cut my losses on the $200 round. Zero employee enforcement regarding pace, and nothing but ‘oh, sorry’ after explaining the decision to quit early. Highly recommend playing somewhere else.
Second time at Guy Savoy. The first time was better. Almost slightly regretted we came here for our anniversary. We enjoyed the food, it’s balanced, elegant and delicious. The truffle soup and deserts were great . However we did not enjoy so much about the wine paring. As a wine student (and part time winemaker myself- couple of harvest seasons with Cbrands), I’ve always curious about wine and food paring. I asked some questions about the selections and wanted to know more about the nuances, but we did sense the annoyance from our somm. Probably because the restaurant was busy, and we understood he didn’t want to engage in a conversation. The paring itself was good to be fair, but we wish it can be more creative and the somm can be friendlier. Not a ridiculous ask for a meal you pay over $1500 for. Food and wine was solid, but a lot of times it’s the overall dining experience and the people that set outstanding restaurants apart from the good ones. In this case, Guy Savoy disappointed us. We will not come back most likely, and overall we don’t recommend for the food and wine paring.
Amazing show. Funny, sexual, raunchy, awing. Different acts from all over the world that all made up a super cool show. Tickets were expensive (especially for a Canadian) but this was one of the best experiences we had in Vegas. Hope the ticket prices mean the performers are paid well. The crazy show co-host was probably the best part because she was hilarious. Everyone is so talented, 10/10 recommend!
I've loved staying at Nomad properties in the past, and was a bit disappointed in this stay. The room was beautiful, but the air conditioning wasn't working - unacceptable for Las Vegas in July. We had to call the front desk twice (both times sending someone up who insisted everything was working fine - it wasn't) and go down ourselves around midnight (with a different front desk staff member) to get a new, working room. After the room change the stay was fantastic, beautiful accomodations and very comfortable.
We ate there twice and honestly I could probably eat there everyday. I had the veggie mushroom tacos which were insane good and then I had the veggie green sauce enchiladas which I honestly could have just picked up and eaten with my hands, yum, so good I couldn't eat it fast enough. I love the Luxor and I love that I can walk down and have their food anytime I want, some of the best I've had, and I've been to Mexico four times in the last 4 years.
There is something for everyone in the family. Trails, park, water views, wildlife and nature center. This is a great place for small children to get out and enjoy nature.
My daughters Isabelle, Olivia and myself would like to thank Jen from the bottom of our hearts. Your show was absolutely superb and you worked extremely well with the audience. You even invited my 9 year old daughter Isabelle on stage, to be the key master and to assist you with a trick, that Daddy didn't find funny at first, hahaha. Shhhhhh Mum's the word. You also included my daughter Olivia to interact with you and she is so happy with her beach ball and signed card. Both girls really enjoyed meeting you after the show, you we're so sweet with them. You deserve all the magical years with your name up in lights Ms. Kramer!!! Thank you Jen. You really made my daughters years!! They haven't stopped talking about YOU.... Very happy Vegas locals here. ❤ Isabelle, Olivia & Chris xoxoxo Ps - All Jen's staff were lovely too, especially her assistant, as we're the staff at the Westgate.
