I had a wonderful time on the Vegas to Hollywood tour. Jim and Marcus were excellent drivers and great tour guides. We saw interesting desert scenery, beautiful mountains, the Santa Monica Pier over the Pacific Ocean, and, of course, all of the highlights of Hollywood. I am especially grateful to Jim for sharing his wealth of knowledge about the area. It truly was a trip I will remember for a lifetime!
Classy classy classy. Truly a gem in Las Vegas. If you want first class service great food and an intimate atmosphere this is the place. Pricey but 100% worth it. From the moment you walk in expect to be taken care of, great food, exceptional service from start to finish
tl;dr - the food here was great. the restaurant was spacious and the tables were large and good for groups. the food came out quickly and the staff were all very nice. Longer - I was a bit nervous after making the reservation here when I saw the restaurant was only around 3 stars. Some of the pictures also made it look like the food was not going to be that appetizing but we figured we'd give it a shot since we've been to Mott 32 before (which is the other Chinese restaurant in the Venetian). We were extremely and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here!! I think this place probably deserves a much higher rating for food quality and taste. We had a party of 8 people and ordered following (starred items ** were our favorites): Carbs - Beef Chow Fun - Singapore-Style Curry Rice Vermicelli - Yang Chow Fried Rice** Meats - Barbecued Combination Plate (which included a small sampling of the Honey-Glazed Barbecue Pork, Oven-Roasted Duck, and Poached Chicken w/Ginger Sauce)** - Mongolian Beef (w/American Broccoli, Mushroom & Scallions) ** Seafood - Steamed Sole Fish Filet w/Sweet Soy Sauce** - Honey-Glazed Walnut Prawns** - Salt & Pepper Squid** Vegetables / Tofu - Szechuan-Style Braised Eggplant w/ Pork** - Ma Po Tofu (w/Minced Beef)** - Dried-Fried String Beans w/ Dried Shrimp & Preserved Jar Choy, Minced Pork** We were all quite full and had some chow fun and Singapore rice noodles left over. We probably could have just ordered one of the noodle dishes and would have finished everything. I would re-order everything that we had the stars (**) next to and would skip the ones that don't have it. Overall really happy with our dinner there and look forward to coming back!
The service was exceptional!! My husband and I had dinner at Sinatra on August 6 to celebrate his birthday. From the hostess to the person refilling our water, our experience was perfect!! Upon our arrival, my husband received a handwritten birthday card—nice, personal touch! I read reviews before we went, and several patrons mentioned the top-notch service, and we had the same experience!! In addition, the food was delicious! We shared the charcuterie board (I forget the name) for our starter. Our entrees were the lasagna and the scallops. For dessert we had the chocolate mouse cake fedora hat complete with a birthday message written in chocolate.
Great bar and even better bartenders. Good comfortable place for locals and tourists alike. The cocktails are quality. Give 'em a try.
Not going to lie, being from California and having access to some of the best Mexican Food outside of Mexico, I was kind of skeptical about going to a place in Las Vegas that was a Mexican Food place. Viva put all my concerns to rest immediately! This place is phenomenal! The food is EXCELLENT and the the service was grand as well! Luciano and Ray took great care of us and it was a pleasure dining with their assistance! You can tell that Luciano and Ray really enjoy helping others to enjoy great food in a great atmosphere! Johnny, one of the managers, was also wonderful. We spoke to him and let him know that we had a great time and he was happy we had a great time. This is the brunch place you need to be at!!! You will not be disappointed!!!
I've been to Vegas so many times but this was my first time at Lardo. My friend and I got the Birria grilled cheese with dirty fries and it was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The dip was amazing. I will go here everytime I'm in Vegas. The price is also very reasonable for a huge sandwich on the strip.
This was the first time I had ever stayed at The Plaza or on Fremont. The location is great. Food options were amazing. I will say that we paid an early check-in fee and got into a room that was spot cleaned. When we dug deeper, the qtips on the floor, the hair all over the shower, the dried contacts on the counter, and the throw up on the inside of the shower curtain, it made me a bit nervous about what I could find in the bed. I tried calling down to the front desk and housekeeping several times but never got an answer, so I went downstairs. The woman at the front desk got kinda snarky when I showed pictures, wanting to know if I wanted to move or speak to the manager. I just told her I wanted to speak with someone to see if someone could just come up and clean. An amazing housekeeper came up and did a phenomenal job. She was so nice and felt so bad that someone had left the room like that. We loved the slots and the food options. I will say that we did not get a good vibe from the table dealers. No one seemed happy to be there.
Today's Monday shift is not properly preparing the drinks - practically no alcohol in cocktails. Management should take a look at this - we had a few cocktails they were all almost virgins. The bartenders are new and they are trying to take advantage of customers. This is not nice to do in Vegas.
After waiting 20 minutes for a basic breakfast we asked our waiter what was going on... He informed us that it can take up to 20 mins... We explained that we had been waiting 20min. He went to check on the cashier (not the food) and came back to say: it's only been 19min... Your food is being cooked. I don't think I need to explain what is wrong with the service. The food itself was bland and cold.
Nice family oriented place to go inspite of the couple that was next to us making out.
Great venue and great comics! The room is beautiful and every seat has a perfect view of the stage. We’ve been several times and always had a great experience. You never know who will show up. We’ve been lucky enough to see both Paulie Shore and George Wallace on stage. Super intimate and always fun interaction with the crowd. Parking is super easy in the garage right across the street and plenty of great restaurants in the hotel and close up. Pizza Rock is right across the street and walking distance to the show. 5 stars!!
This place in on need of an update. Dirty, stained floors, smells like cigarettes and vomit. Elevator is outdated and needs to be replaced. Springs can be felt through the mattress and the sheets are rough. The guests are questionable and definitely would not recommend for families. I would not stay here again nor recommend.
