Jeff, the bartender, was fantastic. He was friendly, entertaining, and knowledgeable about the food and city. On to the food. We had the fresh bread to start. Fantastic focacchia, dense but fluffy and very flavorful. We also had the pork chop, and Mac and cheese. Both were very good. The chop was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The beans were just ok. But a lovely dish nonetheless. The Mac and chheese had a great amount of cheese and texture. Will definitely go back.
An absolute gastronomical delight awaits anyone who visits this amazing restaurant. Every appetizer, every meal, every staff member were simply fantastic. There's an amazing balcony that overlooks the Luxor and is just a delight to take in. Can't say enough about how wonderful this experience was! I had the surf and turf, steak was to be prepared medium and it came out as the most perfect medium I've seen in a long time. The steak was nestled in a ring of amazing mashed potatoes and the lobster was so well prepared, I barely remember it because I was gobbling everything down. Amazing to no end.
The buffet selection is amazing. I recommend arriving 10:15-10:40am because at 11:00am the menu changes a bit to lunch. You can have one plate breakfast and your second plate lunch and your third plate dessert. If you can handle more plates knock yourself out, it is very good and for the price you can sit and enjoy every plate slowly. They also have military discount if you’re a member they offer 10 or 15% off, I forgot. They have a large variety of food, I tried several but I couldn’t handle to take in more food, I would love to come back and try their other menu, I only had breakfast. Lunch happened while I was sitting at the table contemplating life of how full I was. Service was phenomenal, very nice, patience, communicative and attentive. When you arrive you have to pay ahead and include the tip, leave a great one if you can. The atmosphere is very crowded, understandably it is a buffet and really good one. I don’t think they can do much about it but it is my opinion to give a 4 star for the atmosphere. Know that it is still worth trying this place.
Great place for Thai food and noodles. Dishes were very fresh and fast service. We ordered the curry noodles with chicken and shrimp and the broccoli and beef dish. Both very good and authentic.
The food was good and the wine pairing was well done. The only negative I would have is that for that price I would expect an experience that floors me and it didn't. It was very good but I had a couple Vegas experiences that topped it.
Room had no coffee maker, fridge or microwave, so bring your hot pot! Hotel really needs a good detailed cleaning and updating. Front desk gal was very helpful and the bed was super comfy.
There just wasn't a whole lot of variety for our family's preferences. I decided to eat light, so I got the asparagus and leek soup and it was way thicker than I expected, plus the flavor was mostly cream tasting. I also ordered the tempura veggies, and they were really pickled and very fried. Not like the tempura batter I'm used to in Japanese restaurants. Also, the roasted tandoor veggies lacked flavor and was dry. On a positive note, the roasted half chicken was tasty, as well as the seared octopus.
Everyone was really nice, and the facilities were lovely (although the sauna was not hot). I had read reviews that Luxor is a starter spa on the strip and has high turn over, but the facial I received from Cynthia was excellent. It was so relaxing, and I left feeling refreshed with great skin.
It was a wait to eat here so we rode the gondolas and made it back to the restaurant with time to spare. Service was good. The restaurant gives off plantation but hipster vibes. We tried the sweet corn. It wasn’t sweet to me but tasted similar to other Elotes I’ve tried. The French toast was simple but good. The portion given wasn’t large but enough. The PJ waffles was good and the flavors complimented each other well.
We stayed for four days following the labour day weekend. There is ample free parking and it is well connected to get around whether that's to the strip or out to some of the national parks. The rooms are large and well appointed if a little dimly lit. The beds were super comfortable and there was a good sized fridge in the room. The cleanliness could be improved as there was a lot of dust in the room but nothing terrible. The pool is nice though has no umbrellas so you need to bag the chairs that happen to be in the shade. There are lots of restaurants of different £-£££ depending on what you're looking for. All in all we had a really nice stay there and would stay again.
