During my visit to Las Vegas, I stopped by Coyote Ugly Bar And Dance Saloon on a friend's recommendation. Walking in on a Tuesday at 7pm, we found ourselves as the only patrons in the bar, which had its pros and cons. The service from the bartender, who was fantastic on the mic, was top-notch. Despite the small crowd, we enjoyed a few drinks and vibed to the music. Overall, it was a fun experience, even if I ended up losing $20 on the roulette table downstairs. 😂
The beef Wellington at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill was flavorful, but as someone trying it for the first time, I wasn't quite sure how to approach eating it. Despite my initial confusion, the dish was good overall. However, I think I would have preferred a steak instead. The sticky toffee dessert was a pleasant surprise. As someone who isn't big on sweets, I appreciated that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like many American desserts. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and a pleasure to interact with.

The pizza at Blondies Sports Bar exceeded our expectations and was surprisingly delicious. The salad was fresh and generously portioned with big pieces of chicken. The service was good and our server did a great job. The environment was lively and fun, but the loud music made it difficult to have a conversation without yelling.
Opium is my go-to show in Vegas to bring my friends to. I've been five times now and every time is a different experience. One of my favorite acts is the cyr wheel performance titled "Saturn and his Ring". Watching him spin so fast on such a small stage is mind-blowing. I even had the pleasure of meeting the performer, Nick. The Bubble act is a unique combination of Mr. Rogers, Willy Wonka, and Bill Nye the Science Guy, all leading up to an incredible display of bubbles. And who can forget the straight jacket escape set to "No One" by Alicia Keys? It's a classic that always keeps me coming back for more. I also recently enjoyed the new Limbo act and a percussion/beatboxing trio that left me speechless. However, I do miss seeing characters like Skip, Captain Kunton, and the robot guy. The VIP couple's banana act and Venus the screeching plate spinner are always highlights of the show. If you're on the fence about seeing Opium, don't hesitate - just GO! It's an unforgettable experience that you won't regret.
I recently visited TGI Friday's at The Orleans in Las Vegas to work on an assignment for my Hospitality course. The restaurant offers a great view of the gaming floor and I had a dining credit to use, so it was the perfect opportunity to visit one of my favorite spots. I was disappointed to find that the Cheeseburger Eggrolls were no longer on the menu, but I was excited to try a new cocktail and order the Green Bean Fries. The hostess seated me in a corner booth alcove with a view of the bar, and my server, Joseph, was quick to greet me. Joseph recommended the Pineapple Mezcarita from the menu specials, and I found it to be a warm and refreshing drink. The presentation was great, although I wished the pineapple had been macerated in the alcohol. The Green Bean Fries were delicious as usual, and my Grilled Salmon with the Korean Ancho Chile sauce and Broccoli Slaw was a perfect main course. While I was too full to order dessert, I would recommend ending the meal with an Espresso Martini or Appletini. Overall, my experience at TGI Friday's was enjoyable and I plan to return for their happy hour specials.
The food at StripSteak is excellent. I have been to many steakhouses in Vegas and this one is one of my absolute favorites. The complimentary fries that come with the meal are phenomenal and a creative departure from the typical bread with butter. The steak I had was wonderfully flavorful and cooked perfectly. StripSteak is a popular spot, so I highly recommend coming early to avoid the crowds, especially after shows and on game nights. Despite the crowds, it is absolutely worth it and I look forward to returning on my next trip to Vegas.
The Delirious Comedy Show in Las Vegas, hosted by comedian Don Barnhart, lived up to its reputation as a top-notch comedy performance. From the opening act by Erin O'Conner to the hilarious set by Keith Lyle and the closing performance by Don Barnhart himself, the jokes were on point and had the audience roaring with laughter throughout the show. It was clear that Delirious Comedy Club is a must-visit in the Las Vegas comedy scene, as two surprise guest comics also delivered fantastic performances. The atmosphere was welcoming and the drink options were both high quality and budget-friendly, making for a truly enjoyable evening. Thank you to Don Barnhart and the entire team at Delirious Comedy Show for a memorable and entertaining night out!
Despite reading many negative reviews, I decided to give WuHu Noodle a try and was pleasantly surprised by the overall quality of the food. I ordered the Mongolian beef and crab rangoons, and was able to sample some of my friend's chicken curry as well, all of which I would rate 4 stars. It's worth noting that I received a 50% discount for being a Silverton member, and I probably wouldn't have dined there otherwise at full price.
My recent stay at the Flamingo in Las Vegas was a mixed experience. I encountered some issues during check-in, including a long wait due to malfunctioning kiosks and being initially placed in an occupied room. However, the hotel quickly rectified the situation and upgraded my room after a short wait. The updated Flamingo room I stayed in was spacious and clean, although it showed some wear and tear. The city view from the room was decent and the location of the hotel on the strip made it easy to access various attractions. I particularly enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the casino. Overall, I would consider staying at the Flamingo again if I found a good deal, but I would be hesitant to pay full price during high season.
