My partner and I had a wonderful experience at Cornerstone for our anniversary. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived. The restaurant was clean and cozy, creating a pleasant atmosphere for our celebration. Our server, Stephanie, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, providing helpful suggestions and explaining how the food was prepared. We ordered the Tomahawk steak for two, and it did not disappoint - ranking up there with other top steak houses we've tried. The manager also stopped by to ensure everything was going smoothly, adding a personal touch to our evening. With reasonable prices for such high-quality food, we left feeling satisfied and grateful for a great dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Posh Burger at Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas offers great burgers, fries, milkshakes, and onion rings. The counter service is efficient and there are some nearby tables for seating. We highly recommend Posh Burger for a delicious burger on the strip. It's a must-visit spot inside the beautiful Aria Resort and Casino.
I can't emphasize enough how amazing this museum is. It's surprising that more people aren't aware of it. The pricing is reasonable, the staff are fantastic, and the exhibits are stunning. Plus, they have their own paleontologist available for inquiries. This museum definitely deserves more recognition. I highly recommend visiting with your family.
Visited Earl of Sandwich for the first time because they are one of the few eateries open late on the strip. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the sandwich was. We ordered the combo which included the Earl's Club, a drink, and a bag of chips for around $20, a fair price considering other options on the strip. The sandwich was generously sized and could easily be split between two people. I look forward to returning to try out their other sandwich offerings.
The Griffin in Las Vegas has a very cool setting that resembles an Old World hunting lodge, complete with comfy benches surrounding two roaring fires, stone walls, and a well-stocked bar. I enjoyed grabbing a drink here and soaking in the cozy ambiance.
The performers in X Country in Las Vegas are incredible with their impressive dance moves, toned bodies, and gymnastic abilities. The show will make you hear certain songs in a whole new way. The ticket prices are worth every penny for the quality of entertainment you receive. One standout dancer, Kylee, is truly exceptional. The colorful sequined tops and white knee-length socks add to the appeal of the performance. Unfortunately, there was an incident during the show where a disruptive audience member tried to upgrade their seat. It would have been better if they were promptly removed from the venue.
I used to love coming to M Pool at The M Resort for the free local entry and the option to order food and drinks, but now they charge $10 for entry. I arrived at 2pm only to find out that the pool closes at 5:30pm, giving me and my family only 2 and a half hours of pool time for a total of $30. With the added cost of food and beverages, the overall experience now feels overpriced. Despite this, the customer service was top-notch, with friendly staff including the pool entry cashier and pool server. While I used to enjoy the special pool day experience, I now feel it is more cost-effective to use my apartment pool. It seems that many locals may feel the same way, as the pool was not very crowded during my visit.
Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas is a fantastic course with beautiful views. The pricing is quite reasonable and the course is kept in excellent condition. The layout offers a good balance of challenge and variety. The staff are all friendly and the weather was ideal during my visit. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
My recent visit to the Rampart buffet at JW Marriott in Las Vegas was my first time dining there since the pandemic started. The space has been renovated and is quite spacious, but the layout with various stations at awkward angles is not ideal. The food at the buffet was decent, although I was disappointed to find no fresh fish or sushi options, only a fish patty with a lot of stuffing. The dessert selection mainly consisted of numerous tiny cakes spread out throughout the buffet. On a positive note, there were tasty options like cream pie, ice cream, flavorful chicken, and an abundance of rice and starches available. Overall, it seems that Las Vegas buffets have changed from what they used to be.
Zuma in Las Vegas is truly a hidden treasure! The atmosphere is inviting and the food is outstanding. The traditional Japanese dishes are full of flavor and expertly made. The service is top-notch, making for a wonderful dining experience.
The Flatbread breakfast pizza at Pyramid Cafe was a standout dish, with delicious flavors and perfectly poached eggs. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was a disappointment. The classic eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, and pancakes all tasted like they had been cooked in large batches well in advance, lacking freshness and flavor. The eggs were overcooked and flavorless, while the hashbrowns tasted bland with a hint of freezer quality. The pancakes were average but nothing special. For the price of $24, I expected a meal that tasted freshly made to order. The coffee was also disappointing. Overall, I would not recommend this spot based on my experience, even with dining vouchers. The wait staff, however, were attentive and friendly.
