4.5 stars would be more accurate. The casino was great, with plenty of slots and table games at reasonable prices. $10 minimum roulette, for example. This was weekend pricing as well, so you may see cheaper minimums throughout the week. There were plenty of food options surrounding the casino that I would label as normal walk ups. Sbarro, Fatburger and Starbucks to name a few. There was a nice restaurant there that we did not eat at. Prices were decent for Vegas, but more expensive than you would find in Henderson. Stayed in a two queen standard room. The room was clean and the layout was nice. The restroom wall blocked most of the light into the bedroom area. The beds were stiff and my wife did not like the pillows as they were too large. Other than that, the room and overall experience was great. We would stay here again next time we visit.
5-Star Flavor! Chucked into the far corner of The Plaza hotel & casino next to the South Tower elevators and garage is in unassuming NY style pizza spot named Pop Up Pizza. Somehow affiliated with the Beastie Boys, this franchise pizza place offers Pizza, salads, breadsticks, beers, and other accoutrements. They also serve scoops of thrifty Ice cream and free refills on your. Our service was fast and the delicious pizza was on point. 18in large pepperoni was $25 out the door. The place was clean, service is fast, and the flavor will have you craving more. It's based inside The Plaza hotel & casino. They have approximately 10 to 12 tables. If you're in the neighborhood and are looking for a great slice of pizza I recommend you stop by.
What a nice surprise to find this little joint in our hotel. We hit it up for a quick lunch and were absolutely thrilled with the food. We ordered the pot roast sandwich, the pastrami burger, wings and cheese curds. Four of us shared these plates and we were stuffed! First, a signature dish is the pot roast sandwich. We had never had anything like this before and it was mouth watering and delicious! The savory sandwich is piled with pot roast and melted cheese on perfectly toasted sourdough bread. Served with fries and a side of the gravy for dipping. You just have to try this! Perfectly seasoned and just melt in your mouth pot roast with crunchy bread. So, so good! Now, I don’t know what to say about the cheese curds but ‘may I have another?’ They were like crack and I couldn’t get enough! Soft and tender cheese fried in literally the lightest batter I’ve ever had. Crunchy like tempura and super light. It was so hard to stop eating them! Dip them in some ranch and they were the most perfect snack. The pastrami burger was also delicious. Piled high with pastrami on top of a burger patty and a soft bun. Cooked to perfection and quick to satisfy your hunger, it’s a solid choice. I didn’t try the wings (I couldn’t eat another bite), but my husband said they were delicious. They were a good sized portion and cooked beautifully. The atmosphere here is music themed, with a stage hosting live bands on the weekends and possibly the evenings if I heard that correctly. The booths are roomy and have musical instrument cases between them. It’s just a nice vibe in there and a pleasant dining experience. The service was great and the food was excellent - just a nice little hidden gem right there in the Downtown Grand.
Very cool arcade ! Large selection of games and an atmosphere that's a lot of fun. Be warned it's easy to spend a lot here. Gets a when the tournament of kings is starting and ending as the line up goes through the whole arcade. Overall a great gaming experience that kids and adults will love. DQ Is conveniently located at the bottom of the stairs as well as the tournament of kings. The arcade uses a reloadable card for $1 that you get at an atm in the arcade.
This 3-star hotel is located at the North End of the Strip. Their Casino games area size is comparable to the other strip casinos. The biggest tourist attraction in the hotel is the Strat Tower. It presents stunning views of Las Vegas. A unique aspect of the Tower is it also allows visitors to go to the open deck where one can view Las Vegas from the highest tower. We visited the Tower at both daytime and nighttime.
Had a pedicure appointment on 7/11/23 with Nina. She is efficient but gentle. Her work is great and the foot massage in the end was PERFECT. I will definitely book her next time I go.
If you have never tried the Earl Of Sandwich then look no further. Obviously the name indicates that they specialize in Sandwiches. While you may think that this is just a sandwich shop, it is a lot more than that. I have stayed at Planet Hollywood multiple times and if you are looking for a late night place to get food then this is the spot. The sandwiches are great and they have other items on the menu other than sandwiches.
We LOVE Dani the bartender! She's a great mixologist & conversationalist! Such an upbeat & pleasant young lady! Don't be shy about asking for extra cherries!
I ate at this good court multiple times. Every meal I had was very good. The hazelnut crepes were my breakfast twice, and the pizza was a nice way to hold over before dinner. My main complaint was prices. Pizza is 8 dollars or so a slice, crepes and all breakfast sandwiches 14, Bobby's burgers we got two burgers, fries and onion rings for 40. Any bottled drink there is 6 dollars. The best thing I ate there though was the crunchburger. I wish I had it one more time.
When I first walked in to this place I thought prices were going to be through the roof, however compared with other top restaurants on the strip it’s reasonable. I ordered the charred octopus and it was delicious. Next was the pasta rags which I’ve never had before and was pleasantly surprised. The crunch potatoes were good but I wish I’d gotten a different dish. For dessert I did the tiramisu which was amazing. Service was great. I sat at the bar and was well tended to. A great place for a special occasion.
The sandwiches were great but it was the worst service experience we had in LV. When we arrived the girl accommodated us at the table and she brought the menu after 25 minutes and only after I ordered. The waiter took another 30 minutes to pick up our order, detail that the restaurant was empty. The feeling I had was that we were not well received. Slow service, they sent the wrong salad... bad experience I don't recommend it!
