Eastside Lounge

The Eastside Lounge is an attractive late-night spot featuring live music with dual pianists who entertain guests by playing and singing requested songs. The cocktails are exceptional, though the snack menu is quite limited, so it’s not ideal if you’re looking to grab a meal. This was our second visit, primarily because we enjoyed the musicians so much the first time. However, during this visit, two different pianists were performing, and neither fulfilled our song requests, even after we offered a tip. It was a letdown compared to our previous experience.

My experience at the Eastside Lounge in our hotel left much to be desired. While the ambiance was elevated by delightful live piano music, the subpar service significantly detracted from the overall experience. Upon arriving at the lounge and settling in after dinner, we eagerly awaited the attention of a waitress to take our drink orders. Regrettably, we found ourselves waiting for over 45 minutes before any service was rendered. Despite the waitress passing by our table multiple times, it took the intervention of the bartender and the manager to finally get her to attend to us. When our drinks did arrive, they were brought to us without the simple addition of water, despite our repeated requests. This lack of attention to detail and customer needs further underscored the disappointing service we received. Although the live piano music added a touch of sophistication to the atmosphere, the inefficiency and inattentiveness of the staff overshadowed any enjoyment we could have derived from it. If you’re looking to enjoy the music, I would recommend staying at the bar area instead, where the service may be more prompt and attentive. In conclusion, while the lounge has the potential to be a charming spot for post-dinner drinks and live entertainment, the glaring issues with service leave much to be desired. I hope the management takes note of these shortcomings and works towards improving the overall customer experience in the future.

Please bring back the piano players on the weekends! The DJ just isn't hitting the same notes and clearly doesn’t attract the crowd like live music does. This used to be my favorite spot to hang out after dinner, but with the DJ now, I'll be going elsewhere.

My companions and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Eastside Lounge following a meal at Sinatra. The two pianist and singers provided fantastic entertainment, and our drinks were promptly served chilled. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Great spot for a pre-dinner drink! The cocktail selection is impressive and the service is top-notch. We stopped by to grab a drink while waiting for our table at Wazuzu and had a wonderful time.
