What an awesome Japanese fusion spot in the Mandalay Bay! I would not have expected everything to be so fresh in the middle of the Las Vegas desert, but it certainly delivers! Food was delicious, with plenty of variety to choose from, including steaks, rolls, and sashimi. Service is top notch as well, they are quick with orders, food, and refilling your drinks. Definitely a great experience. Price wise, it is definitely on the expensive side, but hey, it’s Vegas! Only downside was they ran out of a few of the beers on their menu.
Definately get the gazebo. You get drinks, your floats included, service was wonderful. Live that they give a military discount if asked for (with id). Nice pools soft sand, which food menu was larger though.
Robert Irvine’s Public House is a great place to have a meal located inside the Tropicana hotel and casino. We had lunch at the bar and shared the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were large and very delicious. We had the shaved beef sandwich which was amazing and is more or less a great Philly cheesesteak. The pastrami sandwich was also great but if I had to choose I would get the shaved steak sandwich again. The sandwiches come with fries or tater tots. I would recommend the tater tots. They were cooked perfectly and crisp. There is a good selection of beers. Not the best Bloody Mary, but plenty of other options.
Bought the tickets online and didn't know there was a discount for locals until I got to the place. If there's was any mention of it on the website, I would have bought it in person. Other than that, gallery was nice. Not big of a place.
Freedom Beat is a great restaurant in the Downtown Grand Hotel. They’re famous for the pot roast sandwich. Never in my life did I think I’d ever order a pot roast sandwich but here, it’s the move to make! Other notable dishes are the fried pickles and the wings!
A fantastic tourist attraction! At 540', it's half the size of the real Eiffel Tower. The lift attendant explained that due to it's closeness to the airport it's height had to be limited. The views from the viewing deck are amazing. You can see the Bellagio fountain display & a full 360° view of Las Vegas. If you don't do heights it may not be the one for you, but if you can overcome your fears, you won't be disappointed!
This water show is world class. There’s no other amazing hotels that offer this kind of an experience. We went to see the show on the weekday and it starts at 7pm and runs every hour. This experience is definitely family and kid friendly as you watch the water dance in front of you. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a free water show on the Vegas strip. The views and show are amazing!
I dropped by for their breakfast specials and noticed some exciting offers on cocktails also. The scrambled eggs, ham and breakfast potatoes were a generous serving and filling. My tequila sunrise cocktail was well made and refreshing. Certainly worth a visit.
The place is gorgeous. Pro shop Rodney was extremely nice. Staff member Paul gave us homemade cookies on the course and made sure we were happy. It was very welcoming. Course is beautiful! Views are amazing. Must go.
Who the heck turns off the Indy 500 1/4 of the way in on race day?
Had an exceptional dining experience at Grotto Ristorante inside the Golden Nugget! The strawberry cheesecake was the perfect balance of flavor, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious. The calamari was flavorful, and the chicken Alfredo didn't disappoint either. On top of the amazing food, the service was top-notch and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
A hotel with a great history..but a little tired in places. Restaurants on site varied and largely good. Pools are quite small with limited opening...I would have liked a pool to swim in. No tourist information. Not too pricey. Located on the Fremont Experience.
Went there for the 2022 APA World Pool Championship. Great atmosphere, huge vista able to host about 850 teams of participants in 8-Ball. Half of that number for 9-Ball and Jack and Jill team play. The attached hotel is very grand and offers excellent accommodations including dining, entertainment, video games, poker, baccarat, and other sport oriented activity. The night life is incredible. Very close to the airport, the convention center and the rest of the Vegas strip. Transportation is not an issue.
Service was ok. The server didn't seem friendly. No smiles. The ambiance is nice and chill, and if you sit along the window, you can the entrance to the pool.. Food: Filet Mignon Maine Lobster - Special The complimentary bread basket was good. I love the white bread. The steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The lobster was also cooked good. I love the sauce. Overall, I'd return again but will order something else instead of the lobster.
Food was amazing and service was great! My wife had the fillet and it was cook exactly how she likes it. Mash potato, tater tots and mac-n-cheese sides were outstanding. I had the seafood Risotto and I highly recommend it. Best I've had in a long time.
Lovely atmosphere, enjoyable people, and many many machines to explore. I went to bowl with my friends and all I'm saying is, the lanes are oily. Got me my highest score ever though so I can't really complain. The selection of balls were really nice and had a decent amount for each pound with the amount of people present at the time. All in all, I definitely would recommend taking a group out here to bowl. Only concern is the smell, would definitely want it ventilated but it's tolerable. Enjoy this place!!!!
Utterly disappointed. The owner of the Rio needs to update this hotel completely and expeditiously. Considering that the Rio is one of the older hotels in Vegas and is still operating, there is no excuse for it to be as outdated and run down as it is. The check in kiosks didn't work, yet there are about six kiosk stations near the check in/check out desks. The check in/check out counter only had two people working on Sunday at 7:45 pm, which caused a line that ran from the desk into the slot machine area. The room was very outdated. It reminded me of the 70's. The furniture is old looking and doesn't match. The lamp shades were literally coming apart. One lamp base looked as though someone tried to repair it and it was off centered. The carpet needs to be cleaned throughout the room. The table in the room was small, no desk was inside the room. The pillows on the bed were awful. They felt like some run down pillows and were not even fluffy at all. The shower and bath tub are out dated and the water in the shower didn't get hot. I turned the knob all the way to the left and the water barely got luke warm. We will NEVER stay at the Rio again. The Marriott has provided better rooms than the Rio. If the owner is not going to invest into the hotel and give it a proper renovation, then they should just sell the property and allow another hotel to rebuild. Don't stay at the Rio! Too many other options in Vegas than to stay there.
The Park is an amazing property to stay at. From the food, to the entertainment and more this is the place to stay if you are looking to be right in the middle of all the action. Plus I really enjoyed that the property is now non smoking.
Delicious food! You can share the baguette and it came with a delicious carrot side dish. I got the avocado and green bean toast, it was amazing! It was fun to people watch while we ate.
This was the first Summerlin golf course that I experienced and I'll say that it's probably in my top 5 golf course in the Las Vegas-Summerlin-Henderson areas so far. What peaked my interest so much about this course are the spectacular views of the Las Vegas strip and mountains from this course. The golf course was very relaxing; the greens and the course overall were maintained very well (hats off to the greenskeepers and course Superintendent). The staff at the pro shop were friendly, attentive, and professional, which is always appreciative. The rates here are very reasonable in my opinion, especially when you consider the course layout, views, course conditions, and overall quality. If you're a Las Vegas resident, you'll get to play at a locals rate which is significantly cheaper than the normal rates. Highly recommend this course to all locals and visitors. If you're staying on (or close) to the Las Vegas strip, definitely make plans to travel to this golf course - you won't be disappointed.
