Recently stayed at the Conrad for 5 nights with my husband and we had an awesome time. I think this might be my favorite hotel! The pools are amazing! Plenty of lounge chairs and towels. The elevators are bizarrely fast (you never have to wait). The staff is super friendly. The rooms are really clean. When we got home, I did a google search for the lotion, shampoo and conditioner they stock the rooms with... it's crazy expensive!!! But I love the way it smells. It's my new favorite scent. Honestly we could have stayed here at Resort World the whole vacation - they have everything :)
Great photo op with a landmark! The sign is a tourist hot spot. There is free parking but depending upon the time of day, there may a line. Standing in that line is optional, tho. We went and took a picture from an angle versus waiting in line and it looks great. You can't even tell that we aren't directly in front of it. Since it is usually hot, I'd say avoid the line. But they were selling water when I was there just in case.
Great food, Great atmosphere, And great service. We had to try Saddelle's on our last trip to Vegas, We had heard good things but after seeing Travel Ruby's review video we knew we had to try it. Best French toast I have ever had, it's huge and so delicious (get the berries) my wife had the smoked salmon bagel tower and she loved hers as well. We were staying in the hotel so getting back to our rooms while stuffed was super convenient. But it is worth going to no matter where you are staying, we will be back for sure.
Rooms are pretty Smokey because they are attached to the casino. No fridge or coffee maker in the rooms. You can tell it was beautiful 20 years ago. Elevators are a death trap waiting to happen with emergency panels missing, metal doors pulled up etc. But you get what you pay for.
Not too impressed. Have eaten there twice first time was good went back next day and it was not good. Out of 6 at the table 2 were sick later. Both ordered general Tso's chicken. One asked for sauce extra hot and the other was for mild sauce. Both sauces were prepared as requested. The chicken itself was questionable - pieces of chicken skin and/or cartilege that was battered and deep fried and covered in sauce. One peson ordered orange chicken - the chicken was prepared okay and the sauce was tasty except there were bones in the chicken. We waited to be greeted and waited another 10 minutes or so to be seated, they were busy but there were still several empty tables when we were brought in to be seated. The facility is pleasant with nice decor and ambiance. The servers were friendly. Once our food was served we did not see the waitress again until it was time to pay the bill; someone did stop by and refill the water glasses. When we showed her the two plates that were not eaten and the bones on the third she only said oh no. No apology or adjustment to the bill! I will not eat there again nor will I recommend it to others. If asked I will simply say once it was good the next time it was not. Thank you.
I was so excited for the 80s & 90s Throwback Cruise, but I was disappointed. To start, I drove around for a while before I found a parking garage to park in that was about a 5-7 minute walk from the dock. The GPS tries to take you to the dock, but you can't drive there. The VIP was upstairs OUTSIDE in front of the DJ. I would have been really pissed had we paid the $300 for "VIP" and had to sit out in the heat. No breeze or anything. It was even hot "indoors." The fans blow out warm air. Luckily, there is a water cooler that is self-serve to stay hydrated. Not much variety on the "80s & 90s" music. It was all 80s music and mainly new wave/pop. The DJ needs a new Playlist, or they need a new DJ.
This was a Charlie Foxtrot for a Wednesday night. We decided to just do the lower one where you sit, it’s like 40 feet off the ground or something. We were scheduled for 11:00 pm and we were waiting on the stairs and they told us to go wait at the base of the stairs. I understand safety/weight on stairs could be an issue but this should’ve been told to us when we bought our tickets at street level, by the persons we bought our tickets from. So at 11:00 pm on the dot, my friend and I climb back up the stairs and wait in the same line, when we get to the front, they look at our tickets and tell us we need to go to the other side, they were quite rude but they don’t just let us cut through. We have to go BACK down the stairs and over to the other side. When we get over to the other side, they tell us (just the 2 of us) that we’re in the wrong spot. So at this point, I’m like, ‘no, we’re not doing the stairs again!’ And they were cool about it and made an exception and let us stay on the second side. They were way nicer than the girls on the original side. Safety was very important to them, my harness ended up being crooked and they took it off and put it back on properly. We flew through the air and felt safe the entire time! When we landed, the guys came out and secured us to the platform and we walked to the safety zone inside the apparatus. Apparently stupid, drunk people think it’s a good idea to walk out to the ledge and don’t listen to instructions. Anyways, it was fun, I’d like to go back and do the laying down flying one that was higher up. I do recommend this just for the experience, it’s not like ziplining through a jungle, it’s like ziplining through a neon shopping mall where everyone below is cheering you on!
Wings and blue cheese were not good. Daughters had chicken sandwich and burger and did not like.
Pub 365 was the perfect place to grab a drink and have some very memorable tacos. The atmosphere was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. After struggling with crowds and not being able to eat at one of the casino restaurants due to an hour long wait this easy going, great service and comfortable sports bar was a welcome change. We were staying at the Wyndham Grand Desert resort so it was an easy 15min walk. I had the Baja fish taco while my wife had the Chicken Tinga taco. Fresh flavours which hit the spot. Drinks, I had a whisky and ginger ale and my wife had the Pain Killer drink. Staff were super helpful and very welcoming. It's always nice to hear what the staff like the most on the menu. We played some of the penny slots and won $7.00. Nice way to end a late afternoon bite to eat.
Food Quality was fabulous, i wish they'd bring back ther crab 🦀 legs Friday night then that be 5stars
The food was delicious, I loved the tatar tots, they had a wonderful flavor. The burger was literally something that I wish that I could order and have shipped to Kansas City. The Staff was very friendly and they knew exactly what to recommend to the Tourists.
This 1-star rating seems very unfair to my server and the overall experience - this is only about hostess. My server was friendly, welcoming, and caring - what more could you ask for? I had a lovely evening, had about 6 margaritas, and was even considering staying all night because it was so enjoyable. However, there are situations beyond my control. I found myself in an urgent restroom situation, essentially an emergency. Trying not to show my discomfort, I informed the host that I needed to step outside to meet a friend and would be back in 10 minutes. Regrettably, the host mentioned they couldn’t hold my table. I inquired about my most recent order, but it seemed that 10 minutes was deemed too long – at least by her standards and company policy. Fortunately, my waitress intervened, assuring the hostess that I could be trusted with a 10-minute absence from my table. To provide reassurance, I even left my credit card, demonstrating my commitment to returning within my timeframe. Despite my efforts to ensure a swift return, the situation escalated. The hostess confronted me at my table while I was trying to savor my last drink. She asked why I didn’t like her establishment, to which I questioned her authority. She insisted that I was violating her policies and warned of consequences if I continued to defend myself. All this in front of other obviously more respected guesses than myself. Being an immigrant, I am aware that my facial features might be perceived as unpleasant or irritating, yet I diligently work to earn a living and tip generously to counteract any potential bias. I regret that I couldn’t assuage the hostess’s concerns in this instance. Perhaps there will be an opportunity to do so next time.
This place it amazing! Great way to get out some aggression. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Tiffany deserves a raise, she made sure our entire group had a fun time. 10/10 will be coming back for more.
Came here before hitting the pool and was hoping it would be a quick in and out dining experience considering we were the only ones in there. We ordered, 15 minutes goes by and another party comes in, sits next to us and places their order. Another 15 minutes goes by and I mention to my husband a few times that it was taking a very long time for 1 order of stuffed french toast (that's literally all we ordered). A few minutes later the table next to us, (which arrived after us) a group of 4 men, is served their food and ours is handed to us afterwards off of the same delivery cart. My husband starts eating and I can immediately tell that he isn't happy with his food, so I take a bite and see that his french toast is extremely soggy and cold. At this time, our server walked up and asked how our food was and I let him know that it would have been better had our food been brought out immediately, rather than the kitchen wait to send it with the other tables food, because it made our food not edible and turned our quick bite to eat into an hour long wait. Immediately the server, Ferdie* recognized what had happened and quickly took action. He apologized profusely although we told him we understood it was not his fault. He stepped away and spoke to his manager Robbie, and Robbie quickly came to our table to address the mishap. Robbie offered to remake our food or let us order something else, but by this time we were ready to get to the pool as it was getting later. So Robbie invited us back for brunch the next day before our departure home... He was persistent on us coming back and asked that we please stop by before leaving the next day. We get checked out and make our way back to The Lounge for breakfast and when we arrive Ferdie immediately recognized us and greeted us! He thanked us for coming back and giving them an opportunity to make it right. We ordered our food and they ended up taking care of everything for us. Ferdie was so sweet and his customer service was impeccable, even the prior day when we experienced the issue. After our meal he had chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our table and again apologized for the experience and explained how important it is to them to give the highest quality customer service to their guests, because they want everyone to return and enjoy their experience. We were totally blown away by this kind of hospitality for a being in Vegas and we were thoroughly impressed with their generosity and kindness. This brunch was a great end to our baby moon weekend and this prego mama left very happy and full! Ferdie was amazing and we can't wait to return to The Signature for another stay after baby arrives! We will certainly recommend to family and friends!
This might have been the best tour experience that I have ever had. And I've had some really good tours. Randy was incredibly knowledgeable and absolutely hilarious. The tour of flew by so fast. I couldn't believe we were done when we were. Everything. There is a real magical gem and you definitely get the feel that you're part of the Vegas experience and is history. It's a nice departure from the strip. And the gift shop has a lot of really great stuff. I can definitely understand why people have weddings and stuff here. It is really fun. Totally beautiful! We went at sunsets so we got the opportunity to watch them start lighting up and it was pretty great.
