Hitzville the Show is like a hidden gem among the shows you can see on the Strip. Jin-Jin Reeves and the entire cast are phenomenal singers and entertainers. If you love Motown, or just music and entertainment in general, put Hitzville on your list. It’s the type of thing that as you’re sitting there watching it, you’re wondering why there isn’t a packed house every night because there most certainly should be. Although it’s been in different locations on the Strip for the past 20 years, it’s currently at the Rio. If you’re playing KISS mini golf, swing by the Duomo theater (right next to it) and buy your ticket. If Hitzville ever did a Sunday brunch like House of Blues gospel brunch, I’d be there and I’d bring all my friends. Thanks for an amazing show everyone!
Food was pretty good however I felt limited by the selections being offered. Obviously it's not a buffet but an unlimited brunch being served tapas style. The upgraded endless mimosa/micheladas was a nice touch. Food service turnaround time was a bit slow. If you're hungry make sure order more food than normal on the first round as the second round might take a little longer.
Went here spontaneously one of our nights in Vegas. We had a good time. The opening act and second comedian were okay, but the final comedian, Mark Schiff, was hilarious! Laughed so hard our stomachs hurt, and we were still laughing about his jokes the next day. Made the entire experience worth it.
Probably the best noodle experience in town. The food here is so authentic and delicious. The service is quick as well. I really enjoyed this place. Must visit if you like noodles and dim sum. Thanks
This place has been closed for over two years and is still posted throughout the hotel! Rio was garbage
The best way to get a table here is to make a reservation. The prices aren't bad considering it's a nicer sit down restaurant. I got the Don's Margarita - it was yummy and only $8.75. The Chicken Angelo was decent and not dry - it was $26 and you also get soup or salad and a side of veggies or pasta. The pasta side had marinara sauce that wasn't flavorful, but the Caesar salad made up for it, although the amount of dressing was a little overwhelming. The garlic bread appetizer was $7 and was a must get... Honestly my favorite part of the meal. The atmosphere is relaxing with dim lighting and the waiters were very pleasant. Even though it was nice, I would recommend trying it if you're staying at South Point and want something convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Old but classy is the perception that comes to mind when you enter Tropicana hotel. You can instantly see that inside also when you look at the clientele that visits this hotel. Classy older folks. This hotel will never compete with the newer properties on Las Vegas boulevard but it doesn't have to either. The target audience for this hotel is very different and they know what they're getting when they come here. Only stay here if you fit the target demographic otherwise there are lots of newer properties around this area. My rating for this hotel would be neutral ↔️
It’s okay… The service is fast and the employees are friendly but there is not much flavor in anything they serve.
There’s a bartender name, Ricardo, that is absolutely the most amazing bartender in Vegas. So, if ever in Vegas at the lobby bar at the horseshoe casino, make sure to look for bartender Ricardo..best espressos in VEGAS AND HES AMAZING .. thank me later
My wife and I went in to do The Great Escape. We worked with Jordan who helped us get in last minute. The room was a ton of fun, and really exciting to explore! 10/10 recommend. Jordan was fantastic, and kind and I would travel back to Vegas just to do another room here while he's working.
I got a 50 min restoration mind and body massage, with an aromatherapy add on! Nora was amazing and calming. This was a great way to start my vacation with less tension and a comfortable mind-body state. Highly recommend!
The decor for this restaurant is beautiful, inside and out! The menu is reasonably priced. I had enchiladas with rice and potatoes. Everything was good. The enchiladas were seasoned well. The potatoes were phenomenal!!! The rice was good as well. The entrees did not come with any sides, that was a little different. The staff was friendly. There were multiple servers that came around to refill our waters, which was nice. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.
We didn’t really have a good experience here. The restaurant was very smoky, I think from the hibachi grill in the back. The black cod was stringy and smellede really fishy. Didn’t taste fresh. Sushi was good but not great. Service was slow and we kept having to get our waiters attention. The market vegetables I got tasted bland, and also like burnt oil. The only good thing I ate was the howl of steamed rice with soy sauce. Overall not the greatest experience. Much better Asian options in Vegas.
We absolutely enjoy the creativity of the menu items they changed in this Sunset Casino restaurant. Great portions and taste and prices are normal for any eatery. There are sooo many lynch and breakfast and dinner items. They also sell, to take home; pastries, brownies, cookies and cupcakes and other yummies, as you're leaving the dining room. Very reasonably priced too. You can also use your Casino-card points. I think, Wednesday is 1/2 Price dining day!!!!
