1 Star Review on Koi Restaurant and Lounge

I was a guest at the hotel Planet Hollywood and decided to go to one of the restaurants within the hotel. I chose Koi restaurant. When I was seated nobody came and welcomed me until 12 minutes after I arrived. This was due to a Big party at the restaurant. When I was acknowledged I was immediately asked if I wanted anything to drink. I thought to myself where is the welcoming for coming to the restaurant. Hmmm.....so I gave my drink order which was hot tea. The tea came after 5 minutes of ordering. When asked for my food order I was told it would take about 10-15 minutes since the Big Party was ordering food. In all due honesty I was not fond of the food or the service.

Excellent waiter but the Asian chicken salad was worst I've ever had since preprepared with dressing so soggy cabbage, soggy snap peas plus no flavor in dressing and hardly any almonds. Tasted two days old. Waiter tried by bringing me lime and more dressing but no way to fix it. Should have returned it. Don't order it. The BLT sandwich was good according to my companions. Water had a bad taste but waiter tried by bringing lemon. Fries not crisp. Would never return although kudos to our waiter. As everything at Resorts World, overpriced.

Loved it. Came from NYC. Got picked up by the hotel. On time. Great conversations and a lot of information and history. Jensen was amazing and made our tour pleasurable. Definitely worth doing the full tour with Gold mine added.

Highly recommend Mexican restaurant housed inside New York, New York casino. We were served by a warm , friendly and highly efficient, professional server, Gustavo. I'd eaten steak and chicken fajitas at another well known competitor the day before, so I ordered this again to compare. Wow! Cooked so much better. The steak was so tender and delicious and so too was the chicken. I found the marinade mouth watering. The rice, refried beans ,salsa and guacamole all tasted great. My partner had the amazing shredded beef taco salad. All washed down with superb margaritas. The decor and ambience added to the feel of a real Mexican restaurant. Fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended

I’m visiting Vegas for a couple days and decided to check out this bar since a friend recommended it. I walked in Tuesday at 7pm and we were the only 2 people in the whole bar. That could be good and bad. We got great service from the one black bartender who was killing it on the mic. She deserves a raise and to work all the best shifts. We got a couple drinks and the music was actually nice to vibe to. I enjoyed my time here overall even though I lose $20 on the roulette table downstairs. 😂

Excellent golf course, kept in really good condition. There is a number of challenging holes. Bunkers are mix of sand & a very fine stone. Plenty of car parking spaces. Staff were friendly at the course. Clubs cleaned after your game.

We came to the buffet with my wife daughter and mother-in-law I had the roast beef from the carving table it was cooked to shoe leather texture and completely flavorless cardboard has more flavor than the roast beef. As well as their mango habanero chicken wings which un surprisingly was as bland as their roast beef, their pot stickers were cold, gnats were flying around the fruit and dessert. My wife got the made to order omelet which she describes as chunky soggy water 💧and completely unseasoned , my mother-in-law had tacos, mango habanero wings as well and she found a hair in her food . And to top everything off the drinks were off.

Managers, please take note. I am in the service industry myself. Your hotel and staff were incredible 👌 from the moment we arrived the Valets were telling me and my wife not to worry about so they took our luggage and said go check in no rush. The hotel staff upgraded us due to having to be on the same floor as my company team (6 of us). The rooms were so nice you couldn't tell this casino has been around for a while. The Cinemas, the bowling alley, the great restaurants. With a very upscale mall across the street, I never felt the urge to leave the property. The pools were impeccably maintained. I have to say Kudos 👏 to your staff this is a testament to how you treat your people. Even the hotel staff were friendly!! Loved my stay there, and I will be back. Any offers we get, we will for sure take advantage of them and revisit this property. If you would like me to leave a message, would be happy to do that. In this day, when everyone complains I wanted to leave you compliments.

I work for the Department of Energy, so this was a neat activity! It helped me learn more about my department's history and the history of the U.S. I went with a large group that had a tour guide. It was nice to have a guide, but I left the group (at points) to explore on my own. I wanted to learn at my own pace, which I prefer and would recommend. There's a lot to learn in the museum, so take your time and take advantage of the interactive displays and gadgets, movie clips, and exhibits. READ the displays and take your pictures... just not videos (create a reel when you get home). Please do the News Nob Atomic Blast experience (that's not the official name of the theater or the experience). It was quite surreal and eye-opening! It is a little loud in the theater, but you'll experience the simulated effects of an atomic blast that the news reports heard and felt while at the Nob. The gift shop was nice. It had just enough items to pique your interest, but not so many that you would get overwhelmed. The staff was friendly, and the restrooms (women's at least) were clean and stocked for our morning tour. I'm really glad I went. BTW...I posted only a few pictures to intrigue you, but not "spoil it" for you. Happy exploring!

This place is amazing. The servers are old school and phenomenal and just add to the great "old Vegas" feeling. You feel like you might see Sinatra and the Rat Pack hiding in a booth in the back. The food is unbelievably amazing. The lobster bisque is the best I have ever had. My wife had the Caesar salad, and it was tangy and perfect. We shared the special, a thick cut t-bone with hand-made gnocchi. Wow. And the zip sauce brings it up a notch (if that is even possible). The asparagus was perfect. If you have it in the budget for an expensive meal, you will not be disappointed. Bellissimo!

Great brunch with all you can eat lobster, crab, shrimp and other terrific food. Shellfish, beef Wellington, prime rib, are just a few of the special things you can get at this buffet. Don’t waste your time on breakfast foods, omelets or pasta. For $99, it’s an amazing deal. Also, fresh squeezed juice (at least it tasted that good) include. Service was remarkable. Often at buffets, your old dishes pile up on the table. Not here. The table was cleaned continuously, napkins refolded, drinks refilled, etc. We’ll worth making a reservation but they’re booked out 1/2 a year!

We have stayed here on multiple occasions, mainly because of conferences within the resort itself. Housekeeping is hit or miss if they get to your room or not. Our TV didn't work, the safe didn't work, the beds were not comfortable at all. The casino is fun and clean. The dining options are very good. Love the Brass Fork and the Boathouse! I would stay again, but would consider other options first. Overall an affordable resort, with the potential to be great!

We did the Inside Man escape room and had a really good time. We have done numerous escape rooms and this one was at the top of the list as far as fun goes. The puzzles were challenging yet they still made sense. Nothing felt forced or like a far reach. They still use locks and keys, which I happen to like, but also incorporate some of the newer type mechanical props into the mix as well. James was our man on the outside and he was awesome! He made us feel like we were in for some real fun from the moment we walked in. And he was correct!

Location was good because it was on the strip but if you can’t deal with music all night I’d find somewhere else to stay. Both rooms we were put in were alone the strip and music played all night. Not a huge deal for me but them not finding our reservation and then putting us in the craziest room they had in the corner of the hotel was bad. The A/C unit was extremely loud and maintenance said he couldn’t fix it without standing on our bed because the A/C unit was above the bed. Sheets were also dirty in the first room. We got credit for them not finding our reservation initially then more credit when they had to change rooms for us but the second room was hot. Maintenance man said that there are only blowers in the normal rooms and A/C only in the upgraded rooms. We were given two box fans as the solution… if that didn’t make things worse we found a roach in our bathroom. Oh and the bartenders only checked room key for certain people when it came to giving out 10oz. Bottles of water even though if you’re a guest at the hotel you can get them for free. The bartenders gave my sister and I a hard time when asking for waters… oh and the credits that were supposed to be added to our account for the mistakes that the hotel made were never added on… bad thing to find out once already at a restaurant. Other people may have had better experiences here but ours was poor.

This hotel used to be top notch. The service has declined, the comps are restricted and not worth it, and the noise is intolerable. You can only use your gambling comps in old machines, which are few and hard to find and boring. The restaurants are still fantastic, but If you are looking for a luxurious, relaxing stay in Vegas, look elsewhere.

This can be a stop for a quick dinner if you are getting late for any concerts/shows or whatever. I find the ambience nice. Being adjacent to the casino, my favorite part was that there was no smoking smell. This elevated my mood and I could enjoy my food fully. Everything seemed ok, just that I think food could be even better to earn a five star rating to match up to its price.

This burrito was such a great meal! The chips and salsa were freshly made and were beyond delicious. But let’s get back to the burrito, which sounds basic, but….that carne was so clean and delicious tasting. It had to of been higher quality because it just melted when I bit into the burrito. The cilantro rice was SLAMMING and the beans were also fresh. Mr. Miguel was my server and Uno Mas and The Sahara have a dedicated and hard working employee with him. He ran that entire floor and every customer there was. He was really helpful, super fast and very nice. Come to the Sahara and have lunch or dinner at the Uno Mas taco restaurant and bar. You’ll be back!
