Good food and service. The chicken kabobs are huge! I saved half for later. It satisfied my craving for Mediterranean. My friend had Greek style penne with chicken.
This is a well run venue, from the moment you walk through the front door, to the time you exit. The staff is well trained and totally knowledgeable about their racing experience. We were a group of seven. As soon as the registration desk realized we were all together they took us to the end of the counter and hastened the check in process. We were given wristbands and told we could go to the parking area to examine any car. All the cars were unlocked and we experimented sitting in Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and any other exotic you can think of. We were taken to a training room and were given a 15 minute course on what to expect on the track. Afterwards, we were ushered to a pace car that took us on two laps of the track with a professional drive who explained the course, turn by turn. We then we’re fitted with driving helmets and we met our racing pro, who would accompany us on our individual racing laps. My pro, Pete Olson, took me to the car I had selected for my racing experience, adjusted my seat and steering wheel, then sat and carefully explained how he would instruct me during my laps. He engaged me in some small talk to make certain I was calm and ready to get on the track. Pete was terrific. He calmly guided me through every turn, every break point and every acceleration. His directions allowed me to post one of the top five lap times of the day. If you’ve never thought about driving an exotic car on a race track, I highly recommend Exotics Racing at Speed Vegas. It’s memorable.
Enjoyed the show very much. The talented performers that put on a raunchy undertone performance of excellent acrobatic and performing talents was just what we wanted that night. The hostess was great and the crowd was loving every minute.
With 2 people in front of us it took 15 minutes to place our order and it was 35 minutes before we got our food! The pizza maker evidently thought she was Michaelangelo as it took her 7 minutes PER PIZZA to place all of the elements perfectly on the dough. And the cashier stood around watching, playing on her phone or disappearing into the back room rather than doing anything to help. The dining room was filthy and the Coke freestyle machine was out of most flavors. This place is a disaster.
Loved my manicure and pedicure at check in so much I booked an 80 minute massage for the same day as check out. I needed extra TLC and pampering that weekend and the awesome staff made it happen. Would book again.
My wife and I both got the captains burger. We had reservations for our anniversary for dinner. The staff was very friendly and on top of refills. We both really enjoyed the burgers and I appreciated the fries were seasoned well. Especially for the price, I would hope to not be served bland fried expecting me to dip them in ketchup. The waitress also gave us dessert for free for our anniversary so that was nice. The only real issue we had was the bathroom was pretty dirty.
Average playability And... Semi friendly pro shop staff, (SMILE MORE, engage more), please. Felt not that welcomed compared to other courses and I paid $75 in cab fare alone to get there but I did not let it discourage me. Rained lots but played through it. Then paid another $75 to get back to hotel! The club rentals were just ok and just way overpriced! Paid $86 extra CDN dollars for just some rentals and when it should have been more like $30 US dollars to rent these! Not even any balls included/offered like most other courses do! For this rate it was a let down and a shame actually. No on the course yardage markers or not visible at all makes it more guessing on exact yards to the flag stick! This to me is Mickey Mouse action. Sticking to 3 stars as the greens were nice enough and my server at very end was so nice and a saving grace to this round today. The restaurant was nicely set up and inviting. Nov 8/22.
We had a really tasty meal. Be sure to get a side of garlic green beans! Amazing! We were there early on a Saturday and the line was around the corner. Glad we were able to jump the line with our reservations. Highly recommended!
Ordered baked potato and chicken sandwich and they gave me the wrong chicken sandwich 🙄. I asked the person that delivered the order to the table and they offered no help. I gave the chicken sandwich that was delivered to the homeless. I ate the chips and tried to eat the sandwich but I prefer boneless skinless chicken, which is why I asked about it for my potato and whet with pork instead. The clueless order taker didn’t understand this I guess. I’ll go elsewhere in the future: edit… ordered the FREMONT FIRE chicken sandwich and it was very good. Spicy 3.5/5 so very bearable for anyone that likes spice but not a good fit for someone that isn’t a spicy lover.
UPDATE: Added pictures to my original review. My family and I have been to this restaurant at least 20 times now; not because we're habitual gamblers and have nothing to do in life or can't find anywhere else to eat...but to enjoy the good food they serve here. I mean, don't get me wrong, we do enjoy coming to Santa Fe Station from time to time to donate our money to the machines, but that's a topic of discussion for another day/time. Taking a step back into history, we remember visiting here when the restaurant was called Grand Cafe; however, ever since its rebranding back in early 2021, everything has gotten remarkably better with respect to food and service. Currently, The Brass Fork offers cutting edge menu selections which focuses on key entrees, versus having a menu with an enormous selection that only provides sub-standard quality - needless to say, I'm not a fan of those restaurants that provide a large novel (menu) that is overwhelming when trying to decide what to eat. Also, I'm not sure what happened, but even the service became so much more efficient, to include the servers becoming more friendlier, professional, and more attentive. Regardless, whatever the case or reason, we appreciate the staff working here. I think we've visited this restaurant so many times to which I think we've had each server at least twice by now. As far as the food goes, I won't list all the food we've experienced on the menu because it's safe to say we've tried ~78% of the menu items. But I will highlight my family's favorite items: Hot Wings (yes, I would put that against a lot of wing restaurants in the LV valley), Seafood Chowder in the Sourdough Boule, Mediterranean Chicken Pita, Grilled Salmon, Steak and Fried Shrimp (I'm not sure if they still offer Fried Shrimp - I know you can add Grilled Shrimp), Chicken Parmesan, Turkey Dinner, and I will go on saying majority of the breakfast menu items. Also, I have noticed a slight decline in quality to the Prime Rib because the size doesn't seem to match up to the actual weight as advertised (it seems to be getting smaller and smaller, with more fat in the cut throughout the months of eating here). Now, I don't bring a portable weight scale with me to weigh the Prime Rib as validation, but it just seem like it - the quality overall though is still good. The service overall is outstanding - from the time you're greeting up front from the host/hostess(es), all the way to the end with the cashiers. If you're having a rough night on the casino floor because of the stubborn and mean slot/poker machines, then take a break and go experience some good food and friendly staff. Also, if you've been playing for a while and spending a lot of your hard-earned money, then talk to a casino host to see if you could get a meal comp at this restaurant. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone; whether you're a local or visiting from your homeland.
The show was great. I felt it was well worth the money. The food was pretty good, actually a bit better than I was expecting for basically a "free"meal with a show. The corn could use some seasoning and a bit of butter for the roll if I had to be critical. The chicken was good. The show was quite loud at times that I kind of wished I brought some ear plugs. If we had brought the kids, they would have wanted some for sure. I would highly recommend for some fun family entertainment on the strip.
This is not a fancy hotel but it is a steal of a deal. The front desk was friendly, we have an updated room, price was amazing and no resort fees. Location can't be beat if you love Fremont. Stayed here a few times and always enjoy it.
My two boys and I had a great time. The instructors were phenomenal, the staff was friendly and accommodating, the equipment is well maintained and clean and learning how to operate a big excavator was a blast!
