Sorry about the pictures but I accidentally deleted the food shots. That's too bad because the food is absolutely awesome! I had a sirloin medium-rare, potatoes, salad, and broccoli. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, lean, and juicy. The mashed potatoes were creamy, rich, and buttery. The broccoli was steamed to perfection. Not soggy or tasteless. The salad...well, it was crispy and cold the way it should've been. Who could mess up a salad? Well, I'm sure someone in this world can but not this place. The restaurant is off of the parking lot right at the main entrance so you don't have to walk far. Another thing I enjoy is that the restaurant is far enough away from the casino floor so as not to destroy your dining experience. There's a few games located right outside of the restaurant entrance but there's no casino noise, smoke, and screaming gamers. I appreciate that a great deal. The service was excellent. Our Waitress was attentive and sweet. It didn't feel like she was servicing us just to bump up her tip. She earned her tip with her lovely smile and personality. I wish I had gotten her name. I won't make that mistake again. The prices are reasonable for what you receive. More than reasonable. Count on spending $20-35 per person for dinner, and non-alcoholic beverage. I didn't take a look at the desert menu. I was too stuffed. Again, sorry. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Trust me, you'll love it.
Absolutely incredible service drinks and appetizers. All of it was amazing. Service was exceptional. It was one of our favorites. Best meatballs we’ve ever had.
It's so nice to sit and relax, chat, great coffee, wonderfully generous servings. If you want a fast meal, go to a fast food restaurant. The service is fantastic. Depending on how busy, you might have to be patient because everything is made to order. I've had everything from simple breakfast, coffee & toasted bagel w/fruit cup... to a enormous sandwich, fries, coleslaw, ice tea. Every meal was great!!! By the second day, the server remembered my name, so sweet. As for price, if you have a players card, depending on your play, you can get your meal comped. Remember, when in Vegas tip your servers well... these people work very hard. Cheers from Texas
First time visiting Sun Coast and decided to try the steak house. I would recommend to dine here for special occasions. The restaurant has a nice decor and ambience. The service was good and as expected for the price of the dishes. I can’t say that the dining experience stood out from other steak houses that I have been. The food was tasty and not over powered with salt. The prices of each dish do reflect for being in a casino and for a steak house. I would say it is cheaper than being on the Las Vegas strip. I would come back and eat here again when having celebrating a special occasion.
I had a very nice experience here. There are some fussy things, and the lighting in my room didn't all work perfectly, but it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and kitchenette are nice additions to a stay, and the spa and pool were top-notch with excellent service. Aria's restaurant choices are excellent and easy to access from the Vdara. Keeping some light food options in your room as well as wine or liquor is a good choice to save on expenses, as in hotel options are limited and expensive with mostly self-serve options. I kinda want a $40 breakfast to be served to me, not purchased in a food court.
Lobster bisque is excellent. Chicken fettuccine was sub par as well as the shrimp and grits. However, of all, the attendance of the server was not there but this doesn’t mean he was not nice. Be prepared to pay for over priced food and lots of leftovers not to take back to your room.
Second time coming here! Never disappoints! Great service & food came fast! Burgers were juicy & cooked well. Our waiter was super friendly & the girl who took the photos was super nice and took great pictures of my friends and I. Definitely a place you need to come visit when you're on the strip.
Terrible experience. My wife and I went yesterday for my 40th bday. She did the 3 lap ride along, which she enjoyed (thus the 2-star rating). I did the 5-minute driving experience with the hope that I’d love it and happily buy more time. My experience was the exact opposite. As you start your “experience” there is a flat road you drive along that follows the track so you can gain speed and enter the track safely. This is where my spotter/radio man was YELLING in my radio something incoherent and concerning. Was my car on fire? Was someone about to crash in to me? I pushed the talk button and asked him to calm down and speak clearly as he was creating panic - not something you want with several amateur drivers on a track going 100+ MPH. The main skill these spotters should posses is a sense of calm. Creating panic and fear for amateur drivers is just unsafe. Also some feedback for the owner - I was asked by three different people after my “experience” how it was and I gave varying answers between “awful”, “disappointing”, and “terrible”. All of them looked at me and simply smiled and went on with their day. Actually, the last person, after I said my experience was awful, asked if I wanted to buy a t-shirt. Unfortunately, they were sold out of the shirts that said “I just paid $500 to get yelled at” were sold out. If your business values feedback, teach your employees to lean into feedback in the moment. Simple responses like, “I’m sorry to hear that, what happened that led to your experience?”, or “is there something we can do to make sure you leave with the experience you came here to have?”. I’ve read similar reviews that lead to the same conclusion… If you have the right spotter/radio man you’ll probably have a good time. If you don’t, like me, you’ll wish you took your money and rented a Ferrari next door.
The casino overall is amazing yet the service was horrible, Denise, the lady at the desk was extremely rude and clearly racist. Her attitude was a total mood killer. She had no manners while attending us
Very cool exhibition if you’re in town and near the north end of the strip! This is my second time in here and i quite enjoy learning about all the body parts displayed here. Everything is set up very beautifully, and there’s no smell or anything. Worth your time if you’re into human anatomy or don’t have a sensitive stomach
Nice cozy place for a (quality) drink with great selection. The cute shorter brunette was really nice to deal with but the taller one in the ponytail had some serious attitude. If you don't enjoy your line of work, get a different job!
Great Food! Very Clean! Service had a hiccup, but they quickly corrected the issue and were an absolute pleasure! Feeling Full and Satisfied! Definitely going on my list for great restaurant in this area!
Worst Hotel Experience Ive ever dealt with. Booked in August. No mention of Hotels switching ownership when booking via telephone. Paid regular room rate for 5 rooms. No restaurants are open, the pool is closed, the majority of the machines are out of service to be removed, the convenience store is closed so you cant even buy a water or soda. They should have just closed down during renovations. This is straight up false advertisement. I feel like ive been robbed of my time and money. It took 3 attempts to check in to actually get a room. Rooms were still not ready 4 hours after check in time. My rooms were released and then re-booked so I have multiple duplicate charges on my credit card. Ive never been so disgusted with a hotel in my life and the Rio should be truly ashamed. Best case scenario is they refund my money for remaining nights so I can try to salvage the rest of the trip by staying elsewhere.
Don’t let the name fool you if you are gluten intolerant. The garlic bread is awesome and so is the deep dish pizza! And all gluten free! I was even able to have dessert which rarely is there a gluten free option. Our waitress, Lynnette was the best! Very friendly and helpful. If you’re in Vegas, this place is a must!
This hotel is located in the heart of the strip. It's location allows you easy access to many destinations and the sightlines from it are excellent. For example, you can easily watch the fountains across the street, or the people on them, from many of its locales. You can also see a lot of the skyline in either direction. Inside, it is easy to navigate and has a clean and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are of a good size and design. Getting in and out of them is simpler compared to other hotels I've stayed at on the strip. The pool area is spacious and comfortable. The fitness center, though dark, has everything you need. It is an excellent place to stay if you want a comfortable home base with easy access to many other destinations on the strip.
We ate here after getting married. It was amazing. Service was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and nice! Can't believe I forgot the names who took care of us, but definitely above and beyond! The food was amazing! Thank you Oscar's for a wonderful night!
I recently had the opportunity to dine at the Top of the World restaurant in Las Vegas, and overall, it was a good experience. The panoramic views from this revolving restaurant were absolutely stunning, which added a special touch to the dining ambiance. The service was attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was quite upscale and sophisticated. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, ranging from seafood to steak, and I must say that the food was delicious and well-prepared. The presentation of each dish was also quite impressive, clearly showing the attention to detail in the kitchen. However, the one aspect that left me slightly disappointed was the pricing. While the experience and quality of food were commendable, the prices did not match the value I received. Some of the items on the menu seemed to be priced on the higher side when compared to similar establishments in the area. It's understandable that the location and views come with a premium, but I felt that the prices were not entirely justified. Despite this minor setback, I still enjoyed my time at the Top of the World restaurant. The overall experience, combined with the breathtaking views and delicious food, made it a memorable dining experience. However, potential visitors should be aware of the comparatively higher prices and manage their expectations accordingly.
Expensive bit surely not worth it, food was salty taste way beyond what I have expected especially for top 2020 Italian restaurants in Vegas. Not worth what you pay, Tiramisu has more whip cream then the actual Tiramisu you expect, I didn't finish
WE LOVE BERNARD AND "Gerry"!!!! And the bartender that makes the other bartenders happy... what a great warm and fuzzy place. Quality service is important and the manager has most of these fellas on point. Great drinks good company. Good work!!
