My experience at VooDoo Beach at Rio in Las Vegas was not great. I had to wait 50 minutes to check in, even though I had booked my room a week in advance. Coming all the way from California made the wait even more frustrating. On top of that, the resort fee of $50 was not worth it. The pool closed early at 5pm, so I couldn't fully enjoy my stay. The room definitely needed some renovations considering the price. Overall, it was the worst experience I've had in Vegas.

VooDoo Beach at Rio in Las Vegas is a unique pool area that offers a different experience during the daytime compared to special occasions at night. The layout of the pool area raises questions about keeping individuals under 21 out, as there is a direct view of the pool. However, overall, the atmosphere is hot and lively. The women who frequent the pool area are described as smoking hot. The Rio is noted as a great place to party.

Our experience at VooDoo Beach on 7/28/23 was disappointing. We had reserved and paid for a cabana from 12 pm to 6 pm, with the assurance from our server, Adrian, that it would be reserved for us until 6 pm. However, upon our return, we found that everything we had left in the cabana was gone, except for our shoes. We spoke with manager Brad Spencer, who did not take responsibility for the situation and offered various explanations for why the cleanup was done without addressing our concerns. Despite signing a document stating our cabana reservation time, there was no mention of it being cleaned if we were not present for the entire duration. When we raised the question of our belongings being discarded due to discrimination, Brad's response was unclear. He became defensive and refused to assist us further. The lifeguard who witnessed the situation was more understanding, but it was another manager, Luis Ceja from the hotel department, who ultimately offered a $100 food and drink credit as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, Brad's handling of the issue left much to be desired and may deter us from returning to the Rio hotel in the future. While Luis Ceja's approach was commendable, Brad's behavior made us question his suitability as a manager. We believe that a competent manager should take responsibility for mistakes and provide appropriate compensation to customers who have pre-booked services. We hope that VooDoo Beach will strive for consistent service in the future and address customer concerns in a more professional manner. If we do return, it will likely be during the winter season, and we may opt to avoid using the pool area altogether.
