Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge is always a must-stop before leaving Vegas. The Ceviche tostadas are packed with flavor and shrimp, and the view of the aquarium and mermaid show is fantastic. It never disappoints.

Discovering the Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge in the heart of Las Vegas is like stumbling upon a hidden gem in the desert. The unique experience of sipping on cocktails and indulging in a delicious seafood basket while being entertained by fish and mermaids gliding through the tank is truly one-of-a-kind. The decor of the bar is stunning, with vibrant colors shifting between blue and purple, creating a mesmerizing ambiance. Even the tables and bar itself change colors, adding to the enchantment of the space. For those unable to snag a seat directly in front of the tank, the graceful jellyfish floating behind the bar provide a captivating sight. A visit to Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge is a must on any Vegas itinerary. We opted for a shared seafood platter and cocktails, both of which were excellent. While we personally did not encounter any issues with underage patrons, we recommend bringing children to the area surrounding the aquarium tank, as this part of the experience is particularly kid-friendly. Don't miss out on this unique and unforgettable dining experience in Las Vegas.

Spotting a mermaid in the Las Vegas desert is truly a unique experience. At Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge, you can relax on tail-shaped chairs, sipping on cocktails and enjoying a seafood basket while watching the fish and their mermaid friend swim around. The ambiance of the bar is stunning, with colors shifting between blue and purple and even the tables and bar changing colors. If you can't snag a seat in front of the tank, you can still admire the live jellyfish gracefully floating behind the bar. A shared seafood platter and drinks at Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge are highly recommended. The food and drinks were very good. While we didn't have any issues with younger patrons, it is worth noting that the aquarium tank is mostly located outside of the bar, making it a great spot to take kids. Don't miss out on this unique and must-visit experience!

My first impression of this bar not the best. Went in on a Saturday night (22 July 2023) off the recommendation of one of the middle bars because I wanted a light meal. Went inside, the Cocktail waitresses and staff are in conversation. Finally notices my son and I and I asked for a menu and I was informed that the kitchen is closed on Saturday. The casino was packed and that explains why we were #3 & #4 patrons. I ordered a wine played a few tabletop games and left. Management, why is the kitchen closed on a Saturday night? Hungry players who are looking for a break from the casino floor would love to give these girls a good tip. A huge disappointment as I have always wanted to visit. We left and went to Dottys, better service, snack foods and 5 minutes away.

It's not a full restaurant, more like a bar or a small Cafe. The atmosphere is the best part. There is beautiful mermaid art hanging and most of them are for sale. The aquarium is huge and full of all different fish. It's afun place.
